- I went to the new sylvanian families pop up cafe in shinjuku! it's called the little secret forest cafe and it's amazing!! definitely one of the best pop-up/character cafes I've ever been to! the food was surprisingly so yummy and looked so cute! it's a little on the pricey side, but I would say it's worth it for the quality!

WOW this is so interesting!! I wish they would do one here in the US, I'd be there in a heartbeat!! I love all the cute Sylvanian merch they give you and how you can buy exclusive figures with the drinks. And the food is so adorable, how creative! And it looks very tasty :-P Thanks for sharing! 🙂

This might be my favorite cafe you've ever shown! I loved Sylvanian Families when I was a kid and I'm so glad that they're making a comeback. I really want to collect some of the babies but they're hard to find where I live, and all I have seen are the blind bags where the babies have plastic hair-dos... just not what I want :P
They never really went away you know :D but they really are niche
some of the blind bags are really hit or miss! they had a halloween one a couple years ago that was really cute!
aw I wish this was open for longer. I would love to go when I visit in october!

The food really looked beautiful! Glad they were tasty too and not just all style! Pistachio ice cream is fairly common in North-America (at least in Canada...) it's pretty good. You didn't show us what you got in the blind bag you won! :D

This is so exciting! We're trying to book reservations at the Osaka SF Secret Forest Popup but we might have to wait till we get to Japan and use the hotel room as our 'address') the booking site wont approve our request but I cant wait! I too want the mug - I think the pop up cafe is done so nicely!

Your excitement at the Lobster Bear was amazing! They really are cute little buddies! And the fennec fox is SUPER CUTE! I guess the white animal is a mouse? I'll be in Japan in November, I wonder if there will be interesting pop up cafés when I'm there? Sylvanian Families had a cartoon when I was a kid and I rememgber enjoying it. It was very charming and about kids visiting the Sylvanian village in their dreams to work through an issue in their life. It had a fun opening and ending too!

@@lemonaulait I'm sure I will! We got plans for DisneySea, a section of the trip in Kanazawa, a side trip to Matsumoto Castle, a night at Bessho Onsen, then back to Tokyo in Ueno and probably a day trip to Kamakura! I will be eating a LOT of things!

Good morning or evening. I look at your videos daily
Just curious…What is the background for these characters? Children’s books? Anime? Television program? Or just a well-marketed set of created characters (like the Hello Kitty universe)? I will say, I’m impressed at what a nice job this place did with food quality and presentation for a Temporary place-similar pop-up restaurants we have here in the Southern California tend to not focus very much on making a tasty high quality meal, sometimes-we just had a Sonic the Hedgehog cafe open here in my hometown of San Diego for the recent San Diego Comic-Con (and it’ll stay open for the next month or so..) and the experience was Quite Underwhelming!
it's just a set of toys similar to lego or polly pockets! it's been around for a while!! people just like to find their favorite animals and collect them! 😊 that's so sad about the sonic cafe though!! hopefully there will be better ones in the future!
I have lived on the east coast my whole life (mostly NY) and have never heard of a pop up cafe! Sylvanian families have been around since 1985. They are very popular in Japan and the UK. It's harder to find them in the USA.
How long will be able in Japan I would love to go that one day
