I follow a ton of running channels and notice a lot of guys and gals are much smaller than i am. I have always carried a little "extra" around with me so just as a "larger runner" i swing between 190 and 195 lbs. so far the NoosaTri 14bhas been my go to for most of my runs. I found that the Mach5 FOR ME are too soft a ride. I do find that the Clifton 8 work for me just as well as the NoosaTri. I will be using the NoosaTri in the upcoming Rock N Roll San Antonio marathon Dec 4th. Ill let everyone know how it goes. Great Channel @Doctrs of Running. You definetly put out great material, leep up the good work!
Nice video, thank you! A point you don't mention that I find quite important is durability, and my experience tells me the Noosa will last much longer overall
The Mach 5 has much softer foam in the heel. The foam softness in the front of both shoe feels pretty close. Mach 5 shines on longer runs because foam is so soft, front and heel. Agree completely. Both shoes have great uppers. Love 'em both. Cheers
No inglish pero para mi el hoka clifton 8 se gana por dos puntos al noosa 14 yo utilizo los dos para correr diario pero me siento mejor y me canso menos con los hoka.....
I love my Noosa Tri 14's! Light, nice rocker and sufficient cushioning
Can really recommend the mach 5 aswell super lovely shoe

Love the Noosa Tri 14, but I've noticed the same thing as you: beyond 10 miles (for me) the lack of thickness of the foam make my feet tired.

I tried Hokas out last year and for me, their upper feels shallow over the top of the foot, and I have a neutral foot
I always had severe durability issues with Hoka shoes. They die so quickly! Not going to buy any of their shoes at all anymore.
Strictly from an aesthetic perspective those ASICS are beautiful. As young people would put it those “fire”.
If I close my eyes, it’s Rich Roll.
Which one performs better at easy paces in your opinion?

Good video
Easy Noosa Tri
Hoka shoes gets destroyed or their shoes loses its bounce after a short time.
I tried my first Hokas last year and mileage-wise, they didn’t last nearly as long as other shoes I’ve owned. For the cost, it’s a no brainer
