Great video. I feel like you explained things a lot better in this one compared to the last time you discussed snap jigging. My partner who outfishes me, snaps it on the retrieve. I’ll have to incorporate it more.
@@BobAquatic Snap jigged 8 bass today from shore between 18 to 30 inches on a bucktail with a paddle tail trailer. I had a couple of bass with scrapes near the tail also. Thanks for the technique BoB.
Thanks for sharing your jigging expertise. Info like this is always appreciated.

Striper go nuts for that retrieve style. Great seeing you the other day Karim!
Outstanding information and demonstration. A+++++ stuff Bob!
I tend to do just a steady retrieve...maybe that explains why I struggle so much LOL gotta start this snapping business
Great video! I’m a first time kayaker when it comes to salt. Great advice! 🤙

I didn't watch the whole vid but what rod are u using?
G Loomis E6X
Great video!
What type of rod is best for this. Light, medium, moderate or fast action etc.
You can do it with any rod stiffness, they all work but probably moderate. Depends on the jig weight and depth you are fishing.

@@jace127 I think the scrapes are from seals. Lot them around still with the cold water temps
