- This is a re-do of a video I posted a while ago on Carolina rig Vs Knocker rig. In the 1st video, I did not use the knocker rig the way it should have been so I decided to do the same comparison only this time both rigs are used the same way. The hooks, bait, line, fishing rod and the reels are all the same the only difference is the rigs. Have fun fishing!
It’s inconclusive 😝. They are just all hungry ! 😂😂😂😂
Your editing is awesome dude
Thank you! it takes me a while to do it as in days or even weeks. I had a project one time and I lost it because I screwed up the clips while editing. I finally gave up just made a different one. Have a good day, thanks again.
THERE IS NO BIG DIFFERENCE BETWEEN BOTH RIGS.!
Few things.
1. Your leaders are too short. Try 2-3 feet.
2. Setting pole BEHIND you makes zero sense at all.
3. Whats the fascination with "Time Remaining" ?
1. thanks for the advice, 2. 99% of the time, I don't know what I'm doing and it doesn't make sense, 3. I usually set some limit on time if I go out, otherwise i will eventually ran out of bait, get tired, or get bored. Thanks for the input, very insightful. Have a good day!
Noooo... I want to eat some of that..send it to Chicago overnight
Great stuff tks
So very sorry, very late response. I just do this when I can. I work a lot, sometimes I even forget my password coz I haven't logged in for soooooo long. lol so so so sorry. Have a good day!
Hi, could you plse show us how these 2 rigs are made, I'm watching your video for the first time tks
You got it! coming soon. Thank you!
The knocker rig is really a Texas Rig 🎣😂
This is so true. I think people in general just like to put labels on things but in reality, these two rigs are not really that different. Both catches the same fish.
Knocker is more easy to cast yet Carolina just looks better
I think it's because of the placement and location of the lead. It is next to the hook, so it feels more natural when casting unlike the Carolina rig.
Another great video man!!!
Thank you sir! Do you fish?
@@ndoutdoors813 Yes. I just started getting serious about fishing about 4 months ago. I am steadily getting better. Currently here in California I have been fishing at a lake for stocked catfish. I am honing my skills and hope to someday graduate to ocean fishing. Your videos have been a great help!
@@hectorcamacho5565 Ocean fishing, wow that is exciting! I'm sure you will be a pro in a very short period of time. Keep me posted of your catch! Have a good day!
@@ndoutdoors813 I will. Thanks again and keep up the great work!
What are you using for bait?
Thanks for the question. I mainly use "peeler crabs". It's a delicate bait but the fish in my area loves it. I also use shrimp and sometimes frozen "bunker". What type of fish do you normally see in your area?
Carolina Rig 🎣 work better me 😂🎣🐟
what rods are those? They look perfect for small boat rods...
Sorry for the late reply, they are Tsunami Tuff-tip. I only have 2. Both are 4'9" but you can get them longer. I got them from Cabela's. You can get them from amazon I think? I saw one from my friend who owns a bait shop and they are 6 ft rod. I might buy that from him for this season. They are fantastic.
@@ndoutdoors813 not a problem at all, it's not an urgent matter or anything lol, nobody was gonna die if I didn't know what rods you used in a video :p
Thanks for the info, I'll definitely pick up a couple, the 4'9" is exactly what I need for vertical jigging on pylons.
It could be awesome if not catfish haha
I know what you mean but in my area catfish is king. If I get anything besides cats then it's like Christmas!!! Do you fish? Thank you and have a good day!
@@ndoutdoors813 yeah . I love fishing 🎣
@@KeroMPH Where do you fish and what do you usually catch?
Red snapper and looks like black drum river
@@KeroMPH We catch black drum here too as well as red drum. The only problem is that they are seasonal. They are here at the of summer and early fall. Also, they are juveniles. The big ones are in the middle of the bay where you need a boat.
