fr like the fact that some of the paint on the pants was still translucent and the edges werent clean bothered me so much... It doesn't even take that much effort to get a clean edge..

Exactly. You can easily diy all of these items yourself if you really wanted to. The pieces all look kinda rushed like I get that they’re a business but if they’re selling them for those prices they should put more care and effort into each item (especially those boots)

So I’m a bit confused, NOTHING negative towards Mia but this brand seems ridiculously overpriced. The boots were $200 and the paint was smeared? The pants were so sloppy with the paint . I usually go to the shop after mias videos but they should definitely resend those items to her.

@@notoriousalien, when I think about some of the things that she's worn on this main channel,I can't think of where Mia could even donate some of the pieces. Are there charities that accept fetish wear, or orange, octopus, club kid suits, hot pink assless chaps, and other fantastical ensembles? Maybe she donates some to a drag troupe? I hope she keeps her best and most unique pieces, like the latex wedding dress, and her favourite pieces from the woman who designed Mia's actual wedding dress, (I'm not even going to try, lol.), and miscellaneous other gorgeous things like the sweater with the cherries that dangle. These beautiful, weird, and unique pieces would make a really cool exhibit at a gallery sometime in the future. I'm sure that Mia isn't finished buying more beautiful and interesting things.

I wouldnt spend my money on it either. Not because its ugly or not my style. But i feel like the designers cut a few corners sacrificing the quality of the clothes. They looked very cheap

Love Mia, hate the items though. They just look cheap to me.
I feel like Mia is sometimes a bit to sweet about the quality of brands! She probably doesn't want to hurt any small brands but for example with this brand, the paint looked sloppy and kind of ammateurish. Also the fit for example with the sleeve things wasn't great either. Mia defenitely means it well though!
I think the painting was suppouse to look "sloppy". The style is loud, not clean.

Her hair is like a dark (often called dirty) blonde and then she has the bleached blonde parts
It’s super beautiful! My guess would be because most hair stylists will put the majority of the foils/bleach in the top layers of the hair, which will lighten up the hair that people see. Then leave the bottom (closest to the neck) mostly untouched to avoid breakage ☺️
My hair is like that naturally. It's blonde everywhere except at the back of my neck where it's brown. You wouldn't notice unless I do braids but I really like it!
Mia, I'm sorry to be the one to tell you but you got scammed badly. Most of those things could have been done for under $10. All of those items were subpar at best.
It’s a small business and things are hand painted. We’re some of the items sloppy? Yes and as a brand charging so much they shouldn’t be sending out products that bad but don’t bash them for pricing their items at a price they deem is reasonable for their art and time. Hand made pieces always will be more expensive and I think as consumers ( myself being both a consumer and small business owner) we need to be more respectful of peoples art.

They are clearly just buying these clothes super cheap from a chinese company, cheaply modifying them and profiting 5x what it costs them to make. This is also coming from a small business owner. The pricing it ridiculous for what they are selling already, but then lazy sloppy artistry on top of that?

The fact that the boots and the jeans both have smudged colour is kinda disappointing. Maybe they have a disclaimer about that since they're handmade but I would be so annoyed if I got them and they looked like that lol.

I was looking for this comment! The quality just didn't look that great to me. I know its hard to tell from a video but I customise my own clothes all the time so I would definitely expect more! Especially for the price - those jeans were $200!

Low key kinda makes me sad that most of these pieces were low quality, overpriced (for said low quality) and artistically very messy. When I know people like myself who spend so much time, money and care on every single handmade piece while ensuring high quality materials for absolutely everything. It's just sad that fellow small businesses like myself never get chances like this and are incredibly underappreciated. 😔

You sure could! That’s what niches are about. That’s how upselling and product marketing works. You could also get the fabric and MAKE white jeans but you don’t. You buy them from Walmart, for your convenience. The white jeans you buy from Walmart are also upsold (with the workers probably making less than a liveable wage). It’s just different levels of business.

Menawhile, other youtubers are recognized by comedia, vlogs, adventures, etc. So, in these case to do her job she has to invest on it. I love videos where you shop from small businesses! Shopping from etsy's small-handmade sellers is fun and you get to have things that aren't mass produced which is lovely.
