Nice video. Those structures indeed delivered watr to the city, but they contained terakote pipes originally. It was brilliant piece of engineering. Treasury is not the biggest building, Monastery is bigger.
Question on the how to get the transport to the back door entrance. After you park in the regular car lot where do you go to get the 4x4 transport to go the back door entrance to the monastery? How long was 4x4 ride from the parking lot the back door entrance?
Hi! We parked our car and found many taxi 4x4 drivers in that same parking lot. We hired one to take us to the entrance of the back door trail. We also paid for the jeep ride to the start of the trail. It leaves very often. You can hike from the entrance, but it takes off about an hour of the hike if you take the jeep. I hope you enjoy Petra. It is so amazing!

The ride was $15 USD! They dropped us off at the entrance to the monastery back door trail!
