Awsome vid! , we just booking trip to Jordan and I m going to watch your next ep. So this give me an idea to park car front of visitor Petra center as you mentioned that was free shuttle to back entrance Petra right?? Read some ppl have to pay for taxi+scam jeep to reach that entrance.

Not quite following the logic of in and out "doubling" your time, being a shorter route than the back door. It's possible for "double" of a short route to still be less distance and strain (7.5 miles RT) than a thru hike such as what is being proposed (8-9 miles RT) not including the additional elevation gain/loss.

Yes, there are for only certain stretches of the hike at the beginning. It is cold so definitely wear layers as it gets warm in the sun (cold air, beating sun). Hope this helps!

What a great video… I’ll be there next week and I have a question for you. What transportation from the airport to the hotel did you use? Did you booked throughout the hotel (Aretas)? If so, can you tell me if they asked you for the copy of your passport? I’m kinda concern because I booked with them and they are asking me for that… they said it’s for the driver to prove that he has a reason to get into the airport…

    • @felisaxo

would you mind sharing the driver/company Information.. we’re going to Wadirum as well and maybe is more convenient to have a private driver for the whole trip…
