I will always appreciate the visual appearance of Yamato. The ships, the guns, the camera angles, the explosions... all amazing. This video tries to capture it but it seems they sped up a lot of the scenes. While it definitely hypes up the sense of action it takes away from the slower "majesty" of motion that giant ships should have. Now they seem to be gigantic sportscars rather than gigantic ships that take a second to respond to engine or navigation changes. To me that loss is to profound. Other than that.. cool video with great scene selections and music.
Well, 2205 did that. Yamato was given command of halve of Deslers fleet against Dezariam's forces (aka, black nebular empire) and you even see it. After that, who better to lead a charge than the Hyuuga, rallying all of the surviving warships around her for one last push. Soo the alliance is set in stone PLUS they trust each other to a degree that when a supperior officer of the other race takes command they follow. And remember : They where foes 6 years prior on genocidal war level. Even then we saw in 2202 that the citicen of garmilon either didnt knew OR didnt get informed about what the state did as we saw that old dude teaching garmilon children about christmass and they enjoyed it! in 2205 we even see the little girl that subsequently was safed by yamato praying for her on earth. Thats no alliance anymore, thats friendship (plus the ambassador AND yamanami laughed their arses off when they got kicked off yamato so they have that in common as well)
"2205 hits" Yep, Finaly a combined fleet with combined fleet ops happening. Just you wait for the bolan war wich garmilon at this point cant win alone, yet yamato is more than ready with the 65ft fleet to assist, as well as other combat groups. They wont fail again like with iscandar!
After hitting the ark of destruction with the transit wave motion gun why didn't the Earth have a couple Dreadnoughts or Andromeda class ships as back up to fire their wave motion guns to finish of the ark of destruction?
Technically, the Garmillas forces showed up with 4 (correct me if I'm wrong) CCC series Andromeda-Class Aircraft Carriers, and those still had Wave Motion Guns, tho I don't know, maybe those ship's engine changed or something, and was no longer capable of using the Wave Motion Gun.
Useless. The Ark is still many times bigger than Earth, and you expect moon busters to meaningfully damage it? It lost the cage but the main parts are still intact and functional.
Kancolle, fifth carrier fleet. Its a song pure about them 2 CV's (nearly). Gou(Five)ku(Short for Kubo= CArrier)sen(short for Sentai = team/group) = 5th Carrier group more or less. There is also a full song about Kaga as well etc. Sadly most of the great Knacolle songs are gone for good, especiel the metal ones etc. ... these are sad day's indeed.. from 140+ songs only a handfull where recovered and put on YT again.

Because they couldn’t get there in time after the Ark jumped to earth.
