Il s'agit de l'une des armées les plus modernes, richement dotées, et opérationnelles, de tout le continent. Pas la première certes, mais très bien située. Le pays étant positionné entre l'Atlantique et la Méditerranée sa marine constitue une pierre angulaire au sein de l'OTAN dans ce secteur.
L'Union européenne n'a pas de compétences en matière de défense, c'est plutôt l'Otan qui influence l'outil espagnol.
Ceci étant dit, le Juan Carlos n'est pas un porte avions mais bien un porte aéronefs. Ci dessous les différences, la définition :
À la différence d'un porte-avions, un porte-aéronefs ne possède pas de catapulte. Il met en oeuvre des avions à décollage court au moyen d'un tremplin situé sur l'avant du pont d'envol, ou à décollage vertical. Selon le type d'avions embarqués il peut posséder ou non des brins d'arrêt. Si le porte-aéronefs n'est pas équipé de brins d'arrêt, les avions se posent sur son pont, en vol stationnaire à la manière d'un hélicoptère.
Ce type d'avions à décollage court ou vertical permet d'utiliser des plateformes moins vastes que celles des porte-avions, donc de construire des bâtiments de plus faibles tonnage au coût de construction et de possession moins élevés. En contre partie, ces avions qui consomment une grande quantité de carburant pour apponter ou décoller, sont handicapés par leur plus faible autonomie en vol qui limite leur rayon d'action et leur capacité d'emport.

Don't jump into wrong conclusions here. Much of spending spree of polish MoD is criticized domestically. This is elections year and many of these contracts might be downsized or even canceled. Either by gov, after it wins elections or by oposition to prove that predeccessors were wrong.

Nope, it does not. The Juan Carlos isn't an aircraft carrier. It's a LHD, standing for Landing Helicopter Dock. Sure, it will take F-35B, but it doesn't mean that they are qualified to fit the name of "aircraft carrier".

In Poland, every adult male over the age of 18 is obliged to submit to a military commission. when he is physically fit, he gets military category A. then he is practically in reserve. After all, there are several million men in the Reserve who have not reached the age of 60 and served military service when it was compulsory
Well, it's not really a reserve. Poland has a lot of people in reserve thanks to basic/essential military service which was obligatory until year 2010 so every guy who is at least almost 40 now is in reserve and also every person who was ever in military but quit is also in reserve. That's why it's easy to say that from those four countries Poland has the biggest reserve.

U nas ogólnie mówiliśmy rezerwa, na każdego z przeszkoleniem wojskowym (a nawet z samą kategorią A), którzy nie są aktywnymi żołnierzami.
Na zachodzie to co innego.
Rezerwista jest systematycznie wzywany na przeszkolenie obowiązkowe.
U nas dopiero w 2022 roku zmieniono przepisy i masz "rezerwę aktywną" oraz "rezerwę pasywną".

You cannot compare bare numbers. There is a difference between having 100 Abrams tanks and 1000 T-55 tanks.
Also, most of the equipment is not active, and not usable. Germany in this instance has a very big problem of keeping their air fleet "flying", many AFV IFV are not usable.
What's more, recently Spain wanted to offer some Leopards to Ukraine. They have 300+ Leopards and could send... 6.

Not counting the MIRAGE-2000 as an attack aircraft is nonsense... Originally, it was a fighter, but the rafale replaced it and now MIRAGE-2000 is used as attack aircraft.

Ces comparaisons sont stupides : c’est plus intéressant de faire des choses ensemble que de se comparer entre européens. Ce qui compte c’est d’avoir une certaine vision commune et de pouvoir faire les choses ensemble et de manière complémentaire. L’enjeu : c’est la Chine et la Russie et la Turquie…

Je suis d'accord, la comparaison n'a pas lieu d'être tant la démarche des armées est axée sur la collaboration en cas de conflit: comme cela a d'ailleurs pu se faire en Afghanistan, où les USA, Britanniques, Français ou encore Norvégiens se retrouvaient. Maintenant, la question a aussi le mérite de se poser pour savoir si sur la durée, une force nationale peut-elle tenir seule un front et si oui avec quoi.

Quant je vois les allemands réarmer, je ne suis vraiment pas tranquille. Ils ont fagocité l'UE depuis leur réunification, traite les pays méditerranéens avec un mépris non dissimulé , essaye clairement de contrer la France sur l'énergie, l'agriculture et tout ce qui est la force de la France. Sans parler de la nostalgie de la Gross Deutchland qui devient de plus en plus forte.

About France's budget, it did increase with the latest LPM we have around 63B€ per year on the 2024-2030 period. Which is around 68B$.
About Corvets, France does have some, the "Floreal" Class, 6 of this class. More than that, some Corvets are called "Aviso" in the French Marine, but correspond to a Corvet class, which is the classe d'Estienne d'Orves class. Which make a total of 12 Corvets. We also have 12 patrol ships instead of 15. 16 Mine warfare ship, instead of 17 too.
We do not have any Destroyer, only frigates, 15 of them. First rank frigate are counted as destroyers by NATO, but all the first rank frigate we have are classified as frigate, and are used that way.
About the costline, you're not including all of the french department, like Guyana, and all of the others islands like Martinique, Guadeloupe, etc... France got the 1st sea space (exclusive economic zone) in the world.
We do not have only 12 towed artillery system, that's ridiculous. Of course, if you're only counting TRF1 canon, you'll have that result, but that's not the only piece we got. You need to count 120mm mortar as well.
On the other hand we only had 76 Caesar, and we are 18 down because of the gifts to Ukraine, but we should be back at 105 by 2025.

Es un portahelicopteros, ya que está pensado para helicópteros y aviones solo de despegue vertical (despegue por si decirlo poco usual), además de para transporte de tropas y material. No tiene el tamaño, diseño ni defensa de un portaaviones y su precio es bastante inferior a un portaaviones al uso. A España con esto le vale, no necesita proyectar fuerza muy lejo.

You have to know that spain has a stronger económy than poland (is the fourth economy in eurozone)and in the next years its army budget will increase until 2% of its national budget. Until now its strong army has been got only with 1% of its national budget.

I think there are many errors in the video (I think the errors are because they are buying a lot of new equipment since the war in Ukraine), for exaple spain do have 1 aircraft carrier (it was in remodelation for some time but its operative again) and also mobile rocket launchers projectors.
