Don't jump into wrong conclusions here. Much of spending spree of polish MoD is criticized domestically. This is elections year and many of these contracts might be downsized or even canceled. Either by gov, after it wins elections or by oposition to prove that predeccessors were wrong.

Poland is underrated - in 4-5 years they will accomplish huge structural rebuilding of fire power. Poland will be comparable to Turkey.

You have to know that spain has a stronger económy than poland and in the next years its army budget will increase until 2% of its national budget. Until now its strong army has been got only with 1% of its national budget.

Le pays étant positionné entre l'Atlantique et la Méditerranée sa marine constitue une pierre angulaire au sein de l'OTAN dans ce secteur.

En contre partie, ces avions qui consomment une grande quantité de carburant pour apponter ou décoller, sont handicapés par leur plus faible autonomie en vol qui limite leur rayon d'action et leur capacité d'emport.

U nas ogólnie mówiliśmy rezerwa, na każdego z przeszkoleniem wojskowym (a nawet z samą kategorią A), którzy nie są aktywnymi żołnierzami.
Na zachodzie to co innego.
Rezerwista jest systematycznie wzywany na przeszkolenie obowiązkowe.
U nas dopiero w 2022 roku zmieniono przepisy i masz "rezerwę aktywną" oraz "rezerwę pasywną".

In Poland, every adult male over the age of 18 is obliged to submit to a military commission. when he is physically fit, he gets military category A. then he is practically in reserve. After all, there are several million men in the Reserve who have not reached the age of 60 and served military service when it was compulsory
Well, it's not really a reserve. Poland has a lot of people in reserve thanks to basic/essential military service which was obligatory until year 2010 so every guy who is at least almost 40 now is in reserve and also every person who was ever in military but quit is also in reserve. That's why it's easy to say that from those four countries Poland has the biggest reserve.

Anyone who has ever completed military training is practically still in the second reserve up to a specified maximum age, even if they have already been released from the official reserve and no longer appear in the statistics. In the case of defense, different rules apply. Similarly, in Germany, for example, there is no compulsory military service. However, this was not abolished, but merely suspended and can be reactivated at any time in case of defense.

You cannot compare bare numbers. There is a difference between having 100 Abrams tanks and 1000 T-55 tanks.
Also, most of the equipment is not active, and not usable. Germany in this instance has a very big problem of keeping their air fleet "flying", many AFV IFV are not usable.
What's more, recently Spain wanted to offer some Leopards to Ukraine. They have 300+ Leopards and could send... 6.
and the germans missed the last nato maneuvers because none of their armored personnel carriers were fit to drive.

Ces comparaisons sont stupides : c’est plus intéressant de faire des choses ensemble que de se comparer entre européens. Ce qui compte c’est d’avoir une certaine vision commune et de pouvoir faire les choses ensemble et de manière complémentaire. L’enjeu : c’est la Chine et la Russie et la Turquie…
Ce n’est pas de savoir si la France et neuvième 10e ou 11e ou si l’Allemagne est mieux ou moins bien que la Pologne.

Je suis d'accord, la comparaison n'a pas lieu d'être tant la démarche des armées est axée sur la collaboration en cas de conflit: comme cela a d'ailleurs pu se faire en Afghanistan, où les USA, Britanniques, Français ou encore Norvégiens se retrouvaient. Maintenant, la question a aussi le mérite de se poser pour savoir si sur la durée, une force nationale peut-elle tenir seule un front et si oui avec quoi.

About Corvets, France does have some, the "Floreal" Class, 6 of this class. More than that, some Corvets are called "Aviso" in the French Marine, but correspond to a Corvet class, which is the classe d'Estienne d'Orves class. Which make a total of 12 Corvets. We also have 12 patrol ships instead of 15. 16 Mine warfare ship, instead of 17 too.
We do not have any Destroyer, only frigates, 15 of them. First rank frigate are counted as destroyers by NATO, but all the first rank frigate we have are classified as frigate, and are used that way.
About the costline, you're not including all of the french department, like Guyana, and all of the others islands like Martinique, Guadeloupe, etc... France got the 1st sea space (exclusive economic zone) in the world.

Armée de terre (like us army), armée de l'air (Air force) and marine nationale (naval forces). Gendarmerie is a police, but with a military status (they are often in coutryside and middle cities). And then you have police nationale (mostly big cites and some mid-cities). And to be exhaustive, you have the police municipale, it's like sheriff office in us, sometimes with guns or not. They refer to a mayor.
But paramilitaries force or mercenaries are forbidden. You have some SMP, but it's very small.
