It’s pitiful that the take away from this is calling Jim Butcher a “perv”. Sexual attraction isn’t a crime. Please seek therapy.

You guys have great charisma together.
Love the Dresden Files, I've read every book at least three times (except the last two ones, which are currently with a friend, because of Corona). Always good to see how other people also like them.

Thank you for the kind words, even though we have been apart for most of the year, we have definitely gotten closer trying to keep things fun and learn more about ourselves! We will definitely be diving more into the Dresden world too!

The Dresden Files is fun but I really prefer Codex Alera.

So, Dresden Files was first written out of spite to prove his writing teacher wrong.
Codex Alera was written as a bet in the early days of internet forums. Butcher says he was getting into an argument with some guy to the effect of "give me any two thing and I can write a book out of it." So the guy was like, "okay genius, the Roman Legion and Pokemon." And as he started writing it he was like "This is actually really good, I'm not gonna post it here, I don't want anyone to steal it." The guy then said, "Okay, so you lost cause there's no proof."
      And then he published it.
