    1:39 Non-infection causes of fever
Today, we’re going to talk about the different non-infection causes of fever.
When it comes to causes of fever that are related to an infection and virus, antibiotics are not going to work. People jump to antibiotics and then can develop antibiotic resistance.
The best thing to do if you have a fever is to sweat, which will increase the temperature and speed up the process of killing off the microbe. If this doesn’t help, calcium lactate can also help speed things up.
But, what about a fever with no infection?
    Different non-infection causes of fever:
    1. Autoimmune conditions
    2. Trauma
    3. Inflammatory condition
    4. Sudden shock
    5. Antibiotics
    6. Stroke
    7. Brain tumor
    8. Lung conditions-chemical trigger
    9. ARDS-aspirin
    10. Allergy
    11. Pancreatitis
    12. Gallstone
    13. Kidney stone
    14. Thyroid storm
    15. Gout

I’ve had a fever and dry couching with wheezing since Christmas Eve. I have put on two socks, heavy jogging pants, a t-shirt, two hoodies and rolled myself in two comforters. Always thought this was the best medicine instead of taking antibiotics. Thanks for sharing.

I had years of low grade fever that made me lose a lot of school from fatigue. Tests upon tests found nothing. Years later, by chance, my new dentist suggested to have an under gum tooth clean by a specialist. Guess what, my fever of years.... disappeared. It was related to my gums. My dentist didnt know of my low grade fevers but i told him! So that can be another reason for a low grade fever.

Kept getting low grade fevers, but they completely disappeared after going keto. With some experimenting I’ve discovered I get ~37.5 after eating anything with gluten. Doc dismissed it as it doesn’t even qualify as fever, but I wouldn’t take my temperature to begin with if I didn’t get the body aches and burning feeling. I just haven’t heard anyone mentioning fever as part of gluten intolerance

It my not be a fever but just a rise in temp that's discernable.. Id take baseline temps before eating and make a chart for your doctor. Wheat is full of roundup and should be avoided for that reason along with the proteins most humans aren't able to acknowledge.

I cannot remember having a fever since I started on a full time Ketogenic Diet 3 years ago! In fact, since I cut out all grains, beans & processed sugars and foods, I haven't had so much as a sniffle in the past 5 years! I went Paleo prior to Keto. Only Keto stopped my food cravings altogether! I fell off the wagon once & was rewarded with a massive tooth infection that did require antibiotics. That taught me enough not to do it again!

I can't eat wheat at all. I get all sorts of issues. Bloated stomach, gas, puffy face, unexplained fevers/sweats and restless legs at night. Many more symptoms. I did an elimination diet. And basically I'm keto omirvore /carnivore. I can basically only have tomatoes, onions, meats eggs, dairy and most herbs. Cauliflower and broccoli are a major no, nos for me. Which puts most keto foods out. 😔🥺

The way they test for infections isn’t always accurate. Measuring antibodies when your body is so weak and white blood cells aren’t active enough you can have an infection that doesn’t show up. I love live blood cell analysis for this reason. You see your white blood cell count and activity and pathogens in your blood. Even undigested food

A small number of those headaches give rise to the sensation that my brain is boiling and I have to leave a wet cloth on my head to draw the heat off. This a localised inflamation / fever of the head and if you have any guidance to reduce the duration and severity of such symptoms I hope you will find your way to making video. BTW I found by accident that drinking several cups of Bitter Melon tea has coincided with the average duration of my headaches reducing from 4-5 days to 2-3 days. Thanks again for all your guidance.

Taking iron, zinc and magnesium after the workout.... When should I take potassium in my diet? For insulin breaking. Thanks.

Another one you may want to add on the list is CML leukemia and being high acidic from a diet high acid. Some forms of leukemia, because of the white counts being high, especially at night bring on night sweats and feeling like having a fever. I have always been hot natured since a child. And I didn't think about having leukemia until my blood counts kept showing high, which the drs kept giving me antibiotics and it didn't naturally budge it. After diagnosis, I went vegan for several years but just about froze to death all the time, lol. But leukemia will make you feel like your cooking especially at night.

    • @lillypod1337
      @lillypod1337 4 года назад

Yes. Taking probiotics is tricky. Your colonies adjust to the foods you eat and if youre on Keto, certain ones are less present. Taking a probiotic then throws this balance completely off, and might end up giving you a strain of bacteria that thrives on carbs, rather than meat. You end up with severe cramps, a massive die off ending in toxicity (because the carb bacteria isn't being fed) and a fever. You might also end up with SIBO.Unless you were recently put on antibiotics, there is NO need for probiotics.

The problem is that now doctors dont want to prescribe antibiotics. I was really sick for months. Going to doctor complaining. Started in sinuses, never got better, spread to my airway. Ended up with rapidly rising fever to 104° , couldn't breathe. Rushed to urgent care. Finally prescribed an antibiotic only because now the bacterial infection spread and caused me to almost be hospitalized because they wouldn't prescribe an antibiotic. I'm someone who never takes antibiotics but here I really needed one or I would have died.

Sadly it's people who abuses the use of antibiotic that causes doctors not to want to prescribe too much or else they'll get in trouble.
Just like those people who abuses pain pills, it ruined it for real sufferer who needed those prescription pain killers to just live a normal life.
      It sucks really.
Btw..I'm not one of those that need pain pills. Lol
I just know of people who do. Major combate injury that legit qualified for pain pills but doctor cut down on doses on legit sufferer in fear of getting in trouble and going to jail for prescribing too much.
I'm just glad I'm in good health and haven't been sick in almost 10 years.

@Vince Hi Vince, I understand what you are saying. And I didn't ask for the antibiotic. Although I was so sick with 104 fever and chest xray that showed Atelectasis, a sort of semi collapse of lungs, they actually told me they were giving me an antibiotic, Zpack because they determined the risk with how high my fever had gotten and other symptoms not being able to breathe they believed it was bacterial that it was riskier not to prescribe the antibiotic. I believe it started as a bacterial sinus infection that wasnt treated, then turned into bronchitis and pleurisy.

Been in the same boat. I actually have never had antibiotics, EVER. My mother stuck me in bed and made me sweat 'things' out growing up. When I came down with something horrible after moving to the States, the doctor said we're all 'resistant' and shouldn't use Antibiotics anymore. Gd A-holes! Stop giving the lifestock antibiotics and perhaps no American would end up with a resistance in the first place.

My mother has fever. She is 63yrs old. We have done ultrasonography, urine test, x ray, different types of blood tests including typhoid and diabetes, ECG. But all reports are normal. Yet my mother has continous fever 100°F. It comes and goes frequently. What should I do? Please help...

I work in a NHS hospital in UK I work in a Cancer ward
And I have seen patients getting chemo and then they get an infection and lot of doctors tell the patients that they have an infection and don't know where its coming from so they give patients a IV antibiotics to get rid of the "infection",
Because I know chemotherapy and radiotherapy weakness the immune system and can be prone to catch an infections and I also know antibiotics weakness immune system as well the patients immune system is getting heavily suppressed,
Also the doctors give cancer patients antibiotics if there temperature is 37.5 that's there protocol, they consider that to be high temperature
As I have learned from your videos
That if your temperature is slightly high can be ok because its natural response of your immune system working to fight of the infection which speeds up white blood cells.
Its frustration for me because I want to help these patients and I can't

I know exactly what you mean. I deal with cancer patients as well and it's pretty much the same here in the U.S.
      It's frustrating.
I sometimes feel that the protocols want patients to die early or suffer a long death as more money can be made in treatments. Everything in the protocols is a short cut to an early death. I could be wrong. That's just my feeling on it, I've no evidence whatsoever.

Some of our patients taking aspirin as maintenance medicine,..how is that can harm them??

    • @Kimhjortsbjerg
      @Kimhjortsbjerg 4 года назад

Only if you take too much of it , there is sideeffects . I have taken aspirin for 20 years (now 68 / dec. 2019) , but only what is equivalent to a pin-sized head every other day. With a tiny glass of water . That's enough , and there is no side effects at all. I take it due to an american study and tested on elder people . One group of people got placebo pills and another one got acetylsalicylic acid for a period . Unfortunately many people in the placebo group died before the test ended . Now some even say it can prevent cancer. I don't know about that ! however, it dilutes the blood !

    In nature -
Honey Bees will swam around a Hornet and the effect is to raise heat and kill the Hornet.
As the Honey Bees body temperature is slightly higher than that of the Hornet they are able to do this, I suppose a few Honey Bees may actually perish in this scenario (could this be autoimmune?).
Left unchecked however the Hornet will finish off all the Bees on its own-
