10-Month-Old Dennis Hears for the First Time

We caught on tape when 10-month-old Dennis heard for the first time with a cochlear implant. Dana L. Suskind, MD not only gave Dennis his cochlear implant, but she also gave one to his dad, Michael, nine years earlier at UChicago Medicine.

This is brilliant and beautiful. I am deaf and got my first hearing aid two years ago and wow l am still hearing different thing's. I feel blessed it's amazing for everyone who hears for the first time and over whelming. Thank you for sharing. 💜 it.

Забавно, как дети реагируют на непривычный раздражитель (звук). И еще интересно наблюдать за ними, пока в ушко устанавливают части аппарата. Ребенок замирает и не вертит головой, а как бы прислушивается. Спасибо тем, кто разрабатывает и устанавливает такие девайсы детям, это позволяет им развиваться так же, как их слышащие сверстники.
