This series is actually really clever. It feels different from a normal Smosh production, but has the same level of silliness that we expect from semi-scripted content on the channel. I'm really impressed.

Honestly “baking is math and cooking is a dance” resonated so much with me from when I was younger. I’ve ALWAYS loved baking more than just cooking. And math has (almost) always been my favorite subject
I’m so glad Courtney’s hosting this, they have the perfectly chaotic energy for this show.

I've added Italian sausage to baked ziti before and it was really good

I love Angela and Chanse in things because they know how to genuinely hype and they get so excited for others. And they support the bits and they know how to hold the space for others to do said bits without trying to take over or join/change it. It’s refreshing to see.

The combination of Courtney’s intensity and commitment to the character and the amusement and confusion of her show guests is such a fun dynamic! Angela is also perfect for this series because of how easily she gets excited, confused, and amazed. It’s like watching a kid get super hyped up about participating in a game put on by an entertainer, at a kids birthday party, so wholesome and sincere. 🥰

The zucchini in the first case isn’t for flavor, the zucchini will mostly evaporate from the heat, but the moisture will stay in the bread, which makes it more moist and soft like a dessert bread

I was so shocked they seemed unfamiliar with the concept of putting zucchini into breads/cakes

These are so fun! I think there's room for fun twists on this concept too, like getting both the original and altered recipe at the same time and trying to find out which one has the crime (works better for smaller changes, maybe). Like "we found both of these pies at the scene, but we don't know which one is guilty, and which one is innocent..." Almost reminds me of Smosh and Order sometimes.
This is maybe a little too out there, but you could also have one chef create the original and one create the altered (don't reveal who actually did it) and they both try to argue their case for why theirs is the original, based on the appearance, taste, etc. And then Courtney makes the verdict. Then after, we find out if Courtney wrongly gave someone parole or whatever.
Sometimes I know you guys read the comments and find some good ideas so I'll just throw this into the bucket.
Chanse telling Angela "No" is my favorite things about Smosh right now, its just the way he says it that makes it special

Fun fact! Zucchini doesnt have a ton of flavor and is used in some recipes to help with moisture content. My mom has a zucchini brownie recipe that is so so good and you wouldnt know theres zucchini without looking at it. They are the most moist brownies ive ever had, so addicting.
