It has and always will be an honour of mine to sing with my brothers in Bear Creek. This song is one that I composed and I didn't want us to sing it at first for the tie breaker lol. The song talks about how they saw you (meaning the ancestors saw us) and knew that you (we) would help each other. These songs were left for you (us) by your grandfathers. Northern Cree brought those good jams as they always do - and it was another honour of mine to sing against, along with the other groups that brought their sound.

Northern Cree… I was a missionary in 1975 on Saddle Lake. Im sure I knew some of your families. I love what youre doing… brings back so many feelings, and the deep love I have for my Cree freinds. My 2 year old grandson watches your videos with me and drums along with wooden spoons from the kitchen. He must be part Cree!!

That song bear creek sang showed who prevailed even though northern Cree is a great drum group. They say BC was from Batchewana. My brother in law is from there. Was 2 great drum groups singing there heart out but like I said Bear Creek come out on top in my books .

more like a popularity contest when these two are at any pow wow bear creek got better songs northern cree sounds crisper and a little cleaner in delivery but ima go with bear creek cause their songs usually just better while their delivery hardly brings their score down still wished it was like back in the day when a good lead was necessary cause both lack great lead singer
