I lived near here, and worked just a building or two away from where this was shot over a decade ago. In a few shots I could see my old office window. Waves of nostalgia. Thanks for posting this.
Today's video was great. A _lot_ of local ambient sound that you _need_ headphones to really hear where it's coming from. I enjoyed seeing some areas around Tachikawa Station that you'd visited back in 2018, and also some areas that you hadn't back then. A mix like that keeps the viewing fresh and enjoyable, as folks are looking to see what they remember from the past visit, and what places are new. :) The unusual thing about Tachikawa is how extensive and connected its pedestrian overpass walkways are around the station and malls. Even Shinjuku and Shibuya aren't as comprehensive.
Fans of the _Toaru_ _Majutsu_ _no_ _Index_ anime and its spinoffs recognise this place. Especially the station and the monorail tracks are depicted a lot. In the past, much of Tachikawa used to be occupied by the Tachikawa Air Base, run by the US military. Some if it still exists for the JGSDF, but most of its land has been occupied by buildings or become part of the Showa Kinen Park, in honour of emperor Hirohito (whose reign is named "Showa")
I love Tachikawa. We often stayed here . It has lots of places to shop, eat n enjoy the local prices n vibe. Hotels r also way cheaper here. Showa kinen koen is a beautiful garden. Love it in spring , summer n autum. I m so missing Japan cos borders are closed. Stay safe, everyone.
Hopefully you managed to stay dry! Thanks for the inspiration to make content like this in my city (Miami) :), I'm gonna be glad to have these memories once I move somewhere else.
A pesar de la lluvia se ve lindo gracias por el paseo nocturno me ayuda a dormir ,vivo en la ciudad de México y acá son las 23:30 de martes 28 julio. Gracias de nuevo
Love your videos! A technical question: could you please share your full workflow for getting videos out of the Osmo Pocket, joining them together (in case they’re split on the SD card) and exporting them in a high-quality format for RUclips? Which tool do you use and what’s the bitrate (mbps) of the final video?
Thanks! It's pretty straightforward. I use Davinci Resolve to merge the clips and replace the audio with the one from the mic. Then I export as a H.264 MP4 in 80mbps bitrate and upload to RUclips.
Oh ! Japan . You are the pure gentle nd adorable nice Nation . InshaAllah . One day I will visit Tokyo nd will walk around all day ......a nice dream to me . If it possible ???
I love how clean Japan street are, unlike other place in US, there are like trash everywhere. People doesn’t know how to throw them into the trash can.
The fact that most of the video was filmed on upper levels and not street level was somewhat confusing at times. Really could not get my bearings straight for most of the time. This station area layout is worse than that of Shinjuku central station. The highrise buildings, not being on the ground floor with the small walkways gave a great confusing cyberpunk/futuristic vibe.
Tokyo's infrastructure gives a vibe of future world
Tokyo is so nice and different. I hope I can visit some day.

Wonderful..this Tokyo place is fantastic..nice video
Good video with some lucky moments. Thanks from Buenos Aires.
お待ちしておりました😊
雨降りの撮影だったのですね。
立川も昔は、駅の周りだけしかビルがなかったけど、昭和記念公園に向かう通りも(伊勢丹の西側)最近何やら出来上がりました。
Very nice, clean, modern, lots of pedestrian spaces. I hope your camera is waterproof.
It's not, unfortunately 😅
The rainy evening is really cool!
Thank you for sharing a good video! 👍👍
Tokyo is such a beautiful Metro you're lucky to enjoy it thanks for your videos!!!

Wait really? I havent seen the video yet , but thanks for pointing out. Big fan of toaru here from India.
Could you timestamp specific moments which you found similiar?
Sir you are phenomenal. No one else uses Binaural audio. It adds 10x immersion into the video. Keep going , sir , very good videos. I am Amazed.
Thanks a ton!
Goodmorning thank you for sharing 👍👍👍

Not far from where I once lived, maybe 5 or ten minutes down the line on the Chuo line
Wow, that station area looks bigger than most of the ones I've seen in Tokyo.
Pity that you didn't go to and film the green springs nearby🙂 btw, rainy days are nice
From Shinjuku, the Chuo Line🚃🚃🚃 is special and Kichijoji🔝&I have friends,👸👩 so I will shop at Isetan 👜👠👒Tachikawa. Thank you~👍🚶🚶🚶🎁📹
Man it's depressing not being able to see actual faces. That aside, Japan really is picture worthy be it in the urban or rural setting.

It would not be easy to v-log the area in the rainy day. I've gotta know a new place in Tokyo which I can try later on. Stay safe! :)
11:09 Light blue tie guy looks handsome and fit.^^
toaru no railgun brings me here
Bro show us some houses area
Will you stay in japan for good?
Probably not. But it's been great to me for the last 12 years and I'm looking forward to a few more before saying bye
Kapan Indonesia bisa seperti itu
No one is talking. No group walk with talking. I felt very lonely if I live this city.
