In japan people have much respect for silence, they normally talk very low or when they are at home, but not much outside.

The audio seems like it might be a bit adjusted to sound nicer to the ears. I could be wrong, but some of the voices seem especially muted and the cars certainly aren't as loud as I'd expect. It's beautiful either way.

You don't see this in these video's but in my time in Tokyo in the busy area's there are groups of people who go around and pick up trash. Not sure if they are volunteers or what, but I'd often run across a group of 4 to 8 people that pick up trash in the city. There are very few trash cans as well from what I noticed, which makes it more surprising. Some of the lesser traveled back alleys though are a different story.

I have watched a lot of Japan walking videos and rain videos; and this is a masterpiece of the "genre". My favorite. The clear, high visual quality of the video, the gentle rain sounds on the umbrella, the distant sounds of thunder and city buzz, and the liminal, dawn/dust light is just superb. Watching this is like a pleasant dream. I feel like a spirit walking through Shinjuku; like in a Makoto Shinkai movie. Thank you.

31:25-31:30 the aesthetics in these few seconds are just so gorgeous and warming. The perfect placement of the eerily beautiful fogged mirror, the almost out of place yet in perfect place palm tree, the calming color palettes of the flowers, the black and white contrast, the shine of neon lights, and the slight feeling of introversion from the rain have made feel a sense of calm I haven’t felt in awhile. I swear my brain automatically started playing lo-fi music as soon as I saw the mirror lol Thank you for the mini journey you just took me on. I hope to find myself in your shoes one day❤️

@Four Teen I am not from Japan and this is just my username you dickhead.Super Japan right now is the most peaceful country on earth with the most polite people on earth not the same during ww2.Are you living in cave somewhere in your shithole country that you don't know ww2 have ended so many years ago?Can you and all Japan's hater stop bring something about ww2 in any videos about Japan that have nothing do with ww2?Can you leave us who is in love with Japan alone? But maybe that will not happen because you and all people like you deeply jealous of Super Japan that was loved and praised from most people in the world while no one love or care or maybe even know nothing about your cesspool country. It is the user name @God that first bash Japan while me and other pray for the safety of Japan so it is natural for me to counter what that asshole is saying.I suggest that you stop coming to any videos about Japan if all you want to do is insult Japan and anyone who love Japan because no one will like it and they will think you are nothing more than a mentally retarded person who must not exist to begin with. You,your whore mom, your pimp dad and your stinking race can stay in your cesspool country forever no one want to go there.Your country is the cesspool while you and your nation are the feces.

Try living there during the summer like my family and I did. I took them to Japan for their first time there (though I've lived and worked there many times.) In July/August months you can literally leave your house and be sweating buckets within minutes. Honestly, mid spring and early fall are probably the best two times of the year to be there.

獅子やふだ summer in Japan sucks a bit because it can get humid, but a lot of foreigners are used to heat. Australian’s do a lot better in Japanese summer than winter.
