Man i would have love have been there even though it was before my time. You could actually feel the holy ghost through the screen. They didn't need nobody to pump them up. I wish some churches would go back to this. To God Be The Glory
He's not waiting for them to settle down, he's standing aside and letting the Holy Ghost move over the people. Too many times either the pastor is either telling the folks its time to move on, or they are too busy trying to work the crowd up and working up emotions to get people to shout. Here , no one s getting worked up- the congregation is in genuine praise.
It was within these kind of praisebreaks that people who where seeking for the gift of the holyghost would get it.

My parents, my brother and me went here in the late 70's I was only like 8yrs old we were the only white family that went there lol we loved all the Saints there, I was always thankful for my roots here as a child, David Baker and his wife were always lifelong friends with my mom n dad wonderful people!
Yes praise the Lord, this is wonderful to see the saints praising the Lord FOR REAL and no 2 people are doing the same shout. It is amazing now with as big a powerful a God that HE is that he only give folks one shout.

You know it is truly a shame when Apostolic churches today don't have a sniff of an anointing and we have to resort to RUclips to make up for the gross lack thereof... Send your glory One More Time Lord
This was in 1986? I was a kid back then. I think people were more sincere in the 70s and 80s with praise and did not play like what you see in church's today.
sahkrov Yes they were they were for real about living saved and being holy. Alot of churches are not like this anymore
WHEW! That praise break was a blessing. When the organist jumped off the organ and Mother in the White and Yellow hat jumped up behind him, I lost it! MY GOD!!!

I do remember that service. I was much younger. But O what a time we have.

Good Old-Fashioned APOSTOLIC!! I miss these days. People may have looked a mess, but they had POWER and it was evident! Now people have the name on their churches and its either dead inside or a show. No power, no prayer, fake praise.

That's good ole fashion church right there...no hang ups, and you know church was good when the organist jump up of the organ.
does anybody notice that not one person has the same beat as the next, i mean even up in the pulpit their was 2 different beats at 3:30 start watchin at 2:40 thats when i first noticed and as the camera goes through the crowd see how many people are on beat
Reminds me of Bethelehem Healing Temple Out of chicago Illinois The late Bishop Charles Edward Poole and Evangelist Mattie Belle Poole. I have tapes and there tapes sound just like I have one when mother poole is shouting and screaming They had some sure enough church back then.

i believe its to keep her from being cold after sweatin so hard after preaching....IVE SEEN MY PASTOR WEAR IT ON OCCASION....RD HENTON DOES...but nowadays most preachers dont wear capes no more...i guess its antiquated!

yes i miss this foreal, now its totally different at most of the church. Praise just doesn't seem as geniuine or significant and not just shouting, it's just different! its kind of scary!
