I miss my Dad (Apostle Johnnie Washington) I miss the holiness preaching, I miss when saints were really anointed with the holy Ghost and that with Fire!!!! I miss seeing the saints dressed in white, and heads covered!! I was in the choir for a few years... We sacraficed our lives to the Lord and God anointed our lives. I came to Tab when I was in high school back in th 80's. I received the gift of the holy ghost! Praise the Lord!! I am still crying it's holiness or hell !!!

People were more sincere in those days. I grew up in the 70s & 80s. People didn't play like they do now and we were GLAD to be in church and could praise God all day long. It's amazing how a building that seats 3,400 could be full like this on a regular Sunday.

Pastor Washington passed in 1986 and the church is now being pastored by Bishop Ronnie Davis. I got saved in 1985 by the influence of one of Pastor Washingtons members.

Praising God as never before. I love to see the saints praising the Lord in the dance. Old and young praise the lord together. I love the way Tabernacle praises God. When I visited this Church back in the 80's before Ap. Washington passed it was nothing like I have never seen before. I just loved it. And even after his passing the saints continued to praise God. There isn't a sound like this no where else. Praise God for Tabernacle.

I did not need the love of the drugs,the female that tried to hurt me,the friends that had no good intentions for me but the Love if God . Because of the life and legacy of Apostle Washington, I have been graced to travel the world, build a church and also a business. After many years, I am still preaching the gospel and enjoying life. Things would have perhaps never transpired the way it did, had it not been for God using this man of God. As a member of the top in south carolina, it's true, the standard of holiness has drop tremendously. Very few now will you see the ladies in the church with there head covering and the true holiness being demonstrated. Too much of todays minsitries are for prestidge and position and populatity. Apostle didn't care about that. He cared that your soul will be right with God. Can I get a witness...

The movie could have been "A Burning Hell" or "A Distant Thunder." We used to have movies shown at the church occasionally. The TOP Outreach team conducted the services. We used to go to 42nd street also.
