Tesla FSD Beta - How To Get A Perfect 100 Score Faster

  • We got the FSD Beta on our Tesla Model Y about a week ago at this point. Although FSD Beta has a lot of work to be done, there are many people who are anxiously waiting for their turn to get FSD Beta as well.
    In order to get access to FSD Beta, you must have a safety score of 100. Coming Friday, October 22nd, that will be reduced to 99. In addition, we anticipate seeing Beta 10.3 released as well.
    With this in mind, if you do not have at least a 99 safety score, you may be wondering how to get a 99 or 100 as fast as possible. Regardless of the Tesla you drive, there are 2 ways that I will cover in this video, including a cheat that has been discovered.
    First and foremost, I recommend you log all your daily activity into safety.sfnet.app as soon as possible. This will show you your Tesla Safety Score, but more importantly, it will show you how many miles, with a perfect 100 score, you would need to drive in order to increase your score from its current level to a 100.
    In our Tesla Model Y, our experience was that this safety.sfnet.app was spot on, to the mile, in getting our 99 score up to 100. It took me 2 days, but I was able to get on the highway, put the Tesla Autopilot system on, and start checking miles off.
    The second method, which I am in no way condoning, is somewhat of a hack or cheat code. You will need to opt out of the FSD Beta program and wait for 1 day before re-registering for the program. The next day when you re-register, you will now start from 0 and only need to drive 100 miles with a 100 score. You will now be eligible for FSD Beta.
    With all that said, I highly recommend you check out our FSD Beta video, showing how our Tesla Model Y handled FSD Beta in our area. We had a lot of issues and will need to see a lot of improvement in the system before its even comfortable to ride. FSD Beta is extremely jerky and can accelerate and stop without notice.

    I opted out after getting frustrated with random safety dings. I had driven hundreds of unnecessary miles and couldn't get above a 97, so I quit. For no reason, probably my anger, I enrolled again and then opted out. I noticed my scores were gone from the app, so I re-enrolled and had a clean slate - this was all in the span of about 2 hours. I planned a very safe, slow route with no AP, no speeds over 50 and no 4-lane highways. I got my 100 miles within 2 days and my beta that night.

      Maybe Tesla should have required up front a safety score before accepting one’s $10,000 or for that matter, buying the car. So, since coughing up the dough, seems like new conditions are imposed before I can realize FSD. Tricks to beat it IMHO are fair game and legit.

    Well it is May 2023 and they are up to FSD 11.4 now, but if I purchase a Tesla in the future, I would not get the FSD feature or AutoPilot. Vehicle is expensive enough without adding these 2 features for me . I would use the normal Cruise control if I ever need it. I do mainly in town driving being retired. I am a safe driver, so my scores should be pretty high if I would ever want to try these 2 features. I haven't used my Cruise control even on my ICE vehicle for a long time.
    From watching other videos, using FSD you have to hold onto the Steering Wheel anyway, so why should I spend the extra money on this feature. Tesla does not use cameras to see if you are alert and at the wheel like what GM uses.
    May get an Electric vehicle next year if the prices are good and the Economy is also good.
    Thanks for the video.

    I find the dings I get to be extremely frustrating. I get home and it might say too close following or hard braking and I have no clue when this happened. If they start using this for insurance purposes, the driver really needs to know when they failed. Otherwise it’s like taking a driving test and you get done and the tester says you failed without telling you what you did wrong. I’d like to see an audible sound and something flash on the screen whenever an infraction was detected, then the driver knows what to correct.

    • @Vintage_Dave_T
      @Vintage_Dave_T 2 года назад +2

      @@icedout2322 you literally have to drive like a grandpa/grandma (PS; I am one.) Creep around corners, virtually never use the brake pedal, etc. The other day I got home with a 4 mile, 98 score drive at night with very little traffic. Said I had hard braking. I can only think of two times I used the brake; backing out of a driveway and using it on the street to stop rearward motion and backing into my garage before bumping my freezer. Neither time was “hard” braking IMO. I can regularly get 99-100, but have to drive like you have an egg between your foot and the pedals. Not really realistic driving IMO. I drove 4000 miles with a 95 score. I had to opt out and back in to reset. I was virtually never going to improve that score much. Now I’m at 99. 👴🏻

    I came back to this video to find out how to reset my safety score mostly because I had to have surgery so my partner had to drive me to and from the hospital and she hadn't driven it much so I had to teach her. Unfortunately she moved the wheel too much too many times when the blue warning came on that she got kicked out of FSD so my score went from 98 to 95. I really think the safety score is poorly done. I stay farther back than the auto steer setting 4 but still get dinged for following too close. If this doesn't work I'm just going to wait until it is released to everyone and not even think about trying to get it sooner. I'm very disappointed in how this is being done. I have not been able to find a definitive answer. I have the FSD on my Model X and so far I have not been able to get above 98... Thank you for the information! I got the FSD 2021.36.5.3. I wouldn’t call your information a “cheat” as much as a “work around”! I reset my score twice! I live in the east bay hills around the SF bay, the streets are narrow, the traffic is heavy and it is as impossible as it might be in Paris, France or Rome, Italy to get a perfect score. There were streets that I just had to avoid, basically. I think it said somewhere that one had to have 200 miles at 100 or 99 to qualify. I’ve driven the last week as if balancing a glass of water on the roof! Last weekend I had a 100, but not enough miles. This week I closed out with a 99.

    I wanted to let you know that the quality of your content is some of the best I've seen online. As a non- owner, the FSD content that you had done has convinced me that the jump in to FSD in the rural America that I'm in will take some time to implement and will stay my hand in purchasing that option when it is time to purchase.
    If I could make a recommendation, I would love to see you test FSD driving from rural/ less heavily traveled areas and drive to more heavily driven areas that FSD might be better at. I would love to see a breakdown of interactions per mile (small numbers to be certain) between those less traveled areas and more traveled areas. The results might lead us towards "Where is the best areas to use FSD" based on interactions. If I'm traveling from rural Wisconsin to downtown Chicago, is the system robust enough for me to decide that when I get close to downtown, I should switch over?
    Thanks again buddy! Great information and wonderful channel!

    something not being mentioned- if you get a ding like hard braking or aggressive turning then go out to a large parking lot or low traffic area like a industrial park and constantly repeat the braking or turning action (very long and slow) for anywhere from 10-45 minutes (need to do it on the same day as the ding) to bring your score back up to 100 for the day. They only did it to get access. The safety score is not fair for those living in cities versus other areas with little to no traffic. I think the beta should be available to people with varying scores to get a better sample set. Everyone paid for FSD, why do we have to go through Elon's circus show just to get it?

  • @scottjentsch
    @scottjentsch 2 года назад

    What kinds of privacy issues did you have to sign off on in order to get the Beta, or even to have your safety score tracked? This is a massive data collection campaign by Tesla, and I'm starting to see more news come out about how Tesla is storing in-car video and no longer disassociating driving data from VINs when accepting the FSD beta.
    Anyone concerned about being tracked is going to have a hard time getting away from the data that's being collected. Not only can your location be tracked on your phone, your car's whereabouts can be tracked for any given time, and Tesla knows what profile was used in the car and where your driver seat was positioned for further proof that you were driving. Heck, they'll have video of you in the car, so it's going to be very hard to deny! For example, if you're in an accident, prepare to have your car data (including video of what you were doing at the time of the accident) submitted for evidence.

    • @einfussganger
      @einfussganger 2 года назад +1

      I wish my life was so interesting that I was concerned about being tracked. It's not, so I don't care. There is no EULA or NDA that you sign, you just click on some check boxes that indicate you've read something you didn't really read and it's off to the races.

I know many people do not read those things, but then many are surprised when they find out that their app or device is tracking them in ways they never thought of, and their information is being shared/sold in ways they aren't necessarily comfortable with.
