  • I love this charger! I forgot to mention that the bubbles you see on the screen are from my poorly applied screen protector. I cut an old PSP screen protector and stuck it on here. I mostly give my opinion of the charger since most people have seen a charger work before. Feel free to ask any questions that you have. I bought this from Banggood.

    First review with numbers - 200W charging 4s lipo at 14amps thank you for that info. GJ

      Hey there! I love this charger! I'm kind of a charger nut though. I love this one because of the convenience of the built-in power supply. It's so small, I just take a couple of them when I go to my family or friends house to run my cars. Plenty of power to charge my 4s batteries at 2c just using the internal power supply. And it has 700 watt capability on external 24v power supply.

      The Hota P6 is awesome too, if you want a dual charger. I like the interface. It is DC only so you need a battery or external power supply to use it. I don't recommend the T240 power supply that they sell as a companion. I tried it with my P6, but it won't produce the full 240 watts.

    Thanks for this video. I’m trying to decide between this and the D6+. I’m interested in the storage function too. If I have a 5000mah pack and I put it on storage with the cells down to 4v each how long would it take to get to 3.75v? I’m focused on running it on AC and given I’m a new lipo user I’m being super careful

      Hi. The amount of time to discharge a lipo pack varies by how many cells it contains. 2s, 3s, 4s, etc. This charger has a 30 watt discharge capability, which is better than the majority of these types of units. That being said, 30 watts is still kind of low in my opinion. For example, a 4s pack, at 4 volts per cell would have a total voltage of 16v. 30 watts discharge would only be able to draw 1.8 amps from the pack. It will get it done, but not quickly. These days, I use the purpose built dischargers available from ISDT or the one from SkyRc. These come in 80 watt and 200 watt flavors and are mostly plug and play. The ISDT FD-100 would discharge that 4s pack at 5amps. Hope this helps.

      Elliot Baltazar I kinda thinking like you in that I’d rather charge one battery at a time. Doing two at ones seems a lot to babysit. I was looking at the D6+ metal case but the ports being on the side seems difficult to track maybe ( the buttons are also a little antiquated). The D6Pro is still intriguing though, but seems to be sold out for the moment at a lot of locations

      @@jonthomas8487 This is Hota's most advanced charger at the moment. I'm glad you see the logic in using single port chargers. I have an Icharger 406duo, but I honestly never use it. It's awesome, but cumbersome compared to the H6 pro. I wouldn't consider any of the other Hota units because they don't have the balancing power that the H6 does either.

      Elliot Baltazar I ended up getting the D6 Pro. I’m mainly using crawler trucks and currently still use 5000mah packs, but if I ever get into comps I’ll switch to smaller 2200’s. With those I may charge more than one, but for now it’ll be one at a time

      Hi! Yes, I ordered this from banggood a long time ago now, and I titled my video the same as the listing. I will probably change the title. I do believe the duo banggood was referring to was the dual power source capability. Thanks so much for commenting.

      @elliotbaltazar  4 года назад

      Yes it is. The name still has duo in it since it has dual power source capabilities. I agree that the duo should not be necessary, but most sellers have it listed that way. Thanks for commenting. 😊

      @@elliotbaltazar it's weird tho because IT DOESNT have the name duo... nor is it a dual channel...and there even is a duo allready in existence right? Also ac/dc ability isnt called duo by any company. That's callef dual channel exclusively by....EVERY company. You're screwed up here. This duo ac dc terminology I think you made up in your head. Maybe it was a confabulation on your part so not intentional but really now...this isnt a d6 duo. That's something else so change your title already and grow up stop defending your mistake

      Read the title here. This is where I bought my chargers, hence the title of my video. I didn't make this video to gain "likes" or your approval. Perhaps my "terminology" or Banggood's does not suit your almighty tastes, but you should calm down before getting snappy with people on the internet.
