Hey Carmen! 😄 I'm still trying to find a Monstera Siltepecana! I love the one you found! I also saw some Aglaonemas in your video that I haven't seen down here lately. The Aglaonema at 7:31 is a White Edge. 😉 Thanks for sharing!
Howdy miss Carmen I grew u in Kissimmee 1967 to 2004 moved to Huntsville Alabama in 05 I miss my gardening I did back home I used to be a garden designer landscaper at Good Samaritan village from the 80s to 04 I’m glad I found a channle that takes me home I miss the tropical and temperate plant mix zone 9b unless u live on the coast it’s a solid 10a mike
What a great plant haul! Since it’s now spring my plant attention has switched over to the garden outside. Loving digging in the dirt & sunshine outside. Bought another hibiscus to add to my other 3, plus many more other garden plants.💕🌺. (Unlike you lucky Floridians, I have to keep my hibiscus in pots & bring them into the garage for the winter here in GA.)😊
That’s a great idea for your hibiscus! I’m going to try to do that this year. I live in IL, and I tried to do that last year, but I was a day or two too late. 😞 We do have a kind of hibiscus bush that lives here, outside, that survives throughout the winter. You may have them also, they have very large blooms and dull, velvety leaves, instead of glossy leaves.
Oh gosh Carmen what an awesome plant haul. I always love when I can find some cool plants at a reasonable price. I also loved a lot of those pots they had those plants in. Thanks so much for this great video, have a blessed week and weekend coming up, sending love and hugs, bye! 😉😂🤗💜💜
Great deal on the Haworthia! Home Depot locations in Chicago have Philo's White Knight and Pink Princess from Costa Trending Tropicals. Also Philo Mayoi with very large leaves from Proven Winners Leafjoy collection.
I LOVE videos like this! I could shop with you just about anywhere! Lol! I went to 2 local nurseries this past week in search of Leucospermum Cordifolia for my garden, pretty sure they wouldn't have it at a big box store but after watching this video, they have an impressive selection of healthy, uncommon plants. I want that one you called "Dog Tail"!
Carmen I went to that Home Depot in Kissimmee last year when we went to Disney, it was fully stocked then too! Love your new haworthia, so cute and easy care. The siltapicana, very nice find. I bought one from Steve’s leaves too a few years ago and yes it was way more 😝. I agree that patience is key. I’m on the hunt for the lemon lime too😂 forgot to mention the desert rose, I need one that size in my life❤😊
I almost walked by that Prisma color Lemon Lime thinking it was the climber. Luckily checked it out on my phone. It's a new release that grows upright! Yep it came home with me😁
Hey ms.Carmen.. Thanks for Sharing ur outing @ the plant depot 😊 they all look so beautiful...I'm really not a growing plant gal..but I'm willing to learn 😊😊....I would like to know more about the ZZ plants. I was told that they would be good house plants..Could U comment on that..I would luv to know. Thanks in advance ❤❤
Welcome Clara! Yes, ZZ plants are great starter plants. They love bright light, direct morning sun is what I give mine. I also only water when the soil is completely dry. I use a moisture meter and when it says dry, that's when I water thoroughly. ZZ plants have rhysomes for roots and they hold water, so they can go a long time without water. Good luck1
Hey Ms. Carmen. Nice 2 c ya again. I know for a fact I would have gotten the hanging plant & some Ags( like 3/4) of those. Im really n2 Ags. They're so pretty. I always say Florida agrees w/u, u look so energized & glowy(if thats even a word😂) Njoy your family, pets&plants❤❤❤ Blessings
Good for you! You got some beautiful plants!! That lipstick plant would have been a great pick, too! I found one of those there and it is doing well years later!
Hi Carmen, thank you for this wonderful plant shopping video! So enjoyable to watch! Love both of the plants you picked up. I don’t have this Haworthia but I have others I have picked up over the years and I’m a big fan. Easy to grow and I love their shape in general. Mine have pushed out so many babies and I love that the plant you chose has done the same.🥰. Your new Siltepecana is gorgeous! I think I saw a white edge/trim Aglaonema when you were filming and if so, I definitely would have picked it up. Take care and enjoy the rest of your week! 👌🪴🥰
Wow! Love your channel. Your Home Depot has better variety of plants than mine in GA. I will go back next week to see if there are new arrivals 🤩 Love your new plants you brought home.
@carmenwhitehead they definitely were! I never see anything like that at my local home depot or lowes. Maybe that's a good thing because then I would be buying even more plants and I already seem to never be able to leave without out least two every time 😅 thanks for the video though, I enjoyed it!
Excellent advise! Patience is a wonderful virtue. I will admit sometimes I have to exercise some serious discipline and not get pulled into the hype of having some new plant, like even though all the "cool kids" have them. 😇
Great video. I'm on the hunt for one of those monsteras. I keep seeing them in everyone's shopping videos. I have yet to see on here in western pa. But I also would have grabbed that dogtail cactus. I'm really into jungle cactus lately and I never see them in my area.
Hi Carmen. I've been watching you since you lived in AZ. My question is a throwback to those days, lol. Do Copper and Silver Spoons survive the summer heat outside in patios? Thanks!
Yes they do. I had mine on my east facing balcony. The one thing to be careful is too much direct sun can burn them. Morning sun is fine, but afternoon sun can be too harsh in Phoenix.
Thanks for taking us along to Home Depot. My son usually sends me a gift card to HD or Lowes . So I’m hoping for a little plant therapy soon. I was in HD and another customer was looking for the lemon meringue which they didn’t have. I went to Walmart just to check and low and behold they had three, so I did get one for myself. So maybe check it out. I’m in South Carolina. 🪴💚🪴
What a great son you have to give you those gift cards! I did check out Walmart quickly this weekend, but nothing new. I'll keep looking. Thanks so much Kathy!
I live in a tiny town of 550 people in IL, and my nearest Walmart is 10 miles away, yet I am able to get plants from Costa Farms in Miami, FL, and the same ones I’m seeing on this video just blows me away, first of all, and second of all, makes me happy to go to Walmart 🤷🏻♀

I knew you would know! LOL! thanks so much Connie!

Wow, I would love to find some of those. You would think Florida stores would have those since Costa Farms is in the Miami area!
Hi Carmen, the lemon meringue pothos you’re looking for is at the Lowe’s by the Loop. There were like 15 of them there last week. Better hurry! 😊
Do you mean the I-4 freeway?
Hello Carmen from Puerto Rico!!! Thank you for the tour. Didn’t know you moved to Florida. I lived there for 11 years. Enjoy!!! 🙋🏼♀️💚🪴🐩
Hola Nina! yes, I've been living just outside of Orlando for one year this month. Thanks fo rvisiting!

🥰

It was a brilliant plant, beautiful color. Thanks for watching!
Nice Siltepecana!!!! Wow!!! It’s beautiful Carmen!!!!❤
Thanks, I appreciate your stopping by!
I would have gotten that Monstera Stiltapecana and the lipstick plant. Loved the shopping trip
Love that monstera; when it matures on a moss pole, the leaves will be huge!
That's what I think Carol. Thanks so much for stopping by.

Thanks so much Joyce! I agree, Florida has been good for me. Have a blessed week.
Nice haul! They had good stuff there I don’t know what’s going on in Tennessee!
Wow!!! Going to Home Depot, hope I see some of the plants, I am in Eastern North Carolina!!!!
Good luck Helen!
Great find!! I totally would have grabbed that monstera too!
I'm glad they had a few to choose from. I was very happy with the one I got. Thanks for watching.
Beautiful monstera siltepecana a wonderful find.
I thought so too Violet. Thanks for watching.
I would have chosen the same ones you did!!! I'm always a sucker for Haworthias and that was such a good price. The siltepecana is beautiful 💚!
Thanks Diane! I'm really happy with them both.
Very nicely stocked
Hi Carmen beautiful plant's thank u for 😍 ur 🎥

17.30 Perth Western Australia. Great video. Love it❤
Hello from Perth! I've always wanted to visit Australia. Thanks so much for watching.
So many good plants today, like what you bought for your home, the sultipecana is so beautiful!👍
Yes that’s a grea price ,amazing!
💚☘️🌱🌵💚
I knew I wanted it as soon as I saw it, the price sealed it for me. Thanks for stopping by Sylvia!
That siltepecana is on my wishlist!
Thanks for taking us with you to home depot. Nice selection of plants with good prices. Have a blessed day.
I already have an Eve's Needle that is a cutting from my mom's plant. It's growing so much! I'll be sharing it soon.
Good for you! You got some beautiful plants!! That lipstick plant would have been a great pick, too! I found one of those there and it is doing well years later!
Very nice choice with the succulent and also with the plant lovely and beautiful collection
Awesome trip to homedepot. Love the 2 you bought. Have a blessed week.
Very pretty flowers
Good find.
Can’t believe some of the pricing. A few years ago, those late snake plants were $20.
Unfortunately, inflation has even hit the plant market.
Thank you!
You're so welcome! Thanks for stopping by.
Hi Carmen! I just found you and subscribed! loved this video. I'm going to Home Depot this weekend to see if i can find that monstera!!!!
Thanks so much Dawn! Good luck and happy plant shopping!
Hi like the one you take home
Field Trip🎉🎉🎉🎉! I love seeing what is available in Florida, obviously more and healthier than central NY. Great selections.🥰😍💖
Thanks Kimberly! So glad you enjoyed it!
Great finds ❤
I was hoping you’d buy the eve’s needle. 😉

Lucy! I ❤ Lucy! 👀👏👏👏👏👏👏
I love me some Lucy also! 💚🌱.
Love your plant choices!! ❤
Thanks Stephanie!
They have those big aglionema in the store by me too- I felt like $30 is better price $40 is too much
I thought so too Sarah. I may have gotten one if it was less. Thanks for wtching.
Wow! Love your channel. Your Home Depot has better variety of plants than mine in GA. I will go back next week to see if there are new arrivals 🤩 Love your new plants you brought home.
Thanks so much! Definitely check weekly, they are getting new inventory all the time.
You took home some awesome plants. I definitely would have had to take at least one of those clumps of mammilaria if not both 😅
They were so unique! Thanks for stopping by Heather!
@carmenwhitehead they definitely were! I never see anything like that at my local home depot or lowes. Maybe that's a good thing because then I would be buying even more plants and I already seem to never be able to leave without out least two every time 😅 thanks for the video though, I enjoyed it!

You're right Paula, it's easy to get sucked into the "new plant" hole. thanks for watching.
My first thought was call Connie!!!!!!!
She is the Aglaonema Queen! Love her!
absolutely!!!
Nice
I got that monstera 3 yrs ago. Loved it but it got a bad case of meely bugs and I just had to toss it.
Oh no! Sorry to hear that.
Zebras plant, need one! Going to Ikea in Indianapolis next week spring plant sale going on until end of May! Had no idea Ikea had plants.
Yes they do. And they are usually very healthy and at good prices.
Lol that arrange made no sense! What were they thinking??
I think they were thinking "sales". 🤷.
I just gave up my siltepecana. It got so big I passed it on. I do have a cutting.
That's a good problem to have...Your plants are getting too big. Thanks for stopping by Vicky!
Carmen it Will I'm back

Keep visiting the big box stores, you'll see it eventually. This is the first one I've seen there. Thanks for stopping by.

@@carmenwhitehead Thank you!
You won't find any of these beautiful plants at the Home Depot here in Brooklyn, New York
I'm sorry to hear that. I'm definitely blessed to have them here. Thanks for visiting.
💚🌿💚✨💚🤗
💚😊🌱🙏.
I don’t know why I thought you lived in Phoenix.
I did live in the Phoenix area up until one year ago. We moved to the Orlando area 5/22 and we love it here.
Is the monstera just one plant in the pot?
It looks like it's various small plants in one 8" pot. It would be easy to separate if I wanted to. Thanks for watching Heather!
@@carmenwhitehead thanks for letting me know. Much appreciated ❤️
