Lol! I wasn’t a granny in the seventies but I am now and I really had to search for a spider plant 3 years ago. Now they are having a re emergence. Yes, mine is in a macrame hanger just like I had back in the 1970’s.
Yea I hate when the pots are full of water. Especially between my brother and I gone through 6 pots of chameleon ZZ. They all rotted after the repot. I didn’t know Walmart refund plants. What gets me that I got a refund and went back a few days and it’s on the shelf to sell. It was almost dead looking. Still going to try that darn plant one more time. Need to find one bone dry.
Hi Carmen! I wonder if the spider plant is epiphytic in the wild? They fill their pots up with roots so fast and end up with no soil. I stopped by the Home Depot this week here in Lecanto. I also shopped for cacti, and picked up some 2 inch pots 3 for $10. I got a golden barrel and a variegated opuntia. They were well rooted and I immediately put them into 3 inch terra cotta. I love buying them tiny and watching them get big. Our Walmart has even less plants than our other stores, it's a whole lot of nuthin around here. 😂 But Home Depot always has a great selection of smaller cacti, and you never know what you might find.
I have both of those Cacti and I really love them. They are outside on the back steps and get good morning light. That was a good deal on the Spider Plant!
Hello Carmen, interesting that the white stripes of the spider plant are outside and not in the middle! I had have a ferrocactus too. I gave it to my son after 26 years, he has it now at a good place in his house and he is very glad with it. Have a nice time Carmen, from Martina, Germany.

The spider plant is the reverse spider plant. The common has the white in the middle and green on the outside of the leaf. Then you gave the solid green spider plant, Bomnie (curly) spider plant and the Hawaiian which mature is solid green and the spiders are green and white.

Carmen, plant pot tippers unite😂, I just did that yesterday too. I have the teardrop peperomia that you showed on your vlog, and it’s so easy care and it’s growing like crazy🎉. Love your new cacti babies, especially the domino. I’ve been on a cacti and euphorbia kick lately,on just got a booby cactus, she’s so 🥰. Love a good deal and your spider plant is one for sure. It does remind me of my grandmother🙏🫶

My spider lily has had so many babies lately! I've probably potted 4 dozen pots so far. I've given them away, I've started a hanging pot wall of them and I still have more to root. My plant needs birth control at this point, lol.
thanks for the video. I have a domino cactus that was small and round, and then I put it outside starting in May, and now its tall and oblong, it has lost its round shape!😜🤔

Hi Martina! Yes, there are a few different varieties of the Spider Plant. The more common one has the white stripe in the center.

I just came from Wal-Mart Toledo Ohio. I found 2 costa farms philodendron pink princess . We never get nice plants. I'm so excited 😁

Yes they do, and they're gorgeous. They only last one day once they do open, so you have to catch it when you can.

Some have the white stripe in the center. Mine has it on the side of the leaves.
