    Will this affect "monkey grass" ornemental grass? I have a lot of dollar weed and something else in my beds, too much to pull. Nice and informative video, thanks.

      Hi Will! Celsius did not take care of the monkey grass (later I discovered all of that type of grass is considered sedge). It came back this year for a moment then disappeared; I believe this was because of how dense my lawn is there now vs last year. Sedge hammer is supposed to be a great product to eliminate sedges and is safe to use on st Aug.

      Also Using Celsius around beds may not be a great idea. This stuff is strong and will damage bushes trees etc. read the label carefully before using/purchasing. You can google a pdf version of the label so you don’t spend the $$ if you don’t have to.

    Really good content. I appreciate your info. Please thanks. Is 24D okay as herbicide for my st Agustine?

      Thank you Orange Duc! 24D is not safe for st Augustine. I do use speedzone south which I believe has a touch of 24D in it (could be mistaken). I use it at 1oz per gallon. Stuff works really well.

    Should I just apply it at night? And always use sufantant? Tks

    • @LKNDIY
      @LKNDIY  2 года назад

      Hi David, apply depending on your temps. If the highs are below 85 degrees, you should be good to apply during the day. I’ve read mixed reviews on surfactant depending on application rate and temps. High temps and high app rate I would not use surfactant based on my experience. Medium rate should be ok to use surfactant in my experience.

    Will Celsius WG hurt my Leyland Cypress trees? I have a lost of spurge propagating near and around my trees but don’t want to harm them. Thanks

      @LKNDIY  2 года назад

      Hi MrScott, I would not spray the cypress directly. I apply Celsius to the grass surrounding my trees and they seem to be unharmed.

      @@LKNDIY I would certainly avoid direct contact or overspray. Thanks

    How would this work on Bermuda?

    • @LKNDIY
      @LKNDIY  2 года назад

      Hi Dustin, I don’t have experience with it in Bermuda, but I’ve read that it will bleach it lightly for a few weeks, but won’t kill it. It definitely does not kill the wild Bermuda in my lawn 😂

    Celsius doesn't list crabgrass on the label of weeds it controls !

    • @LKNDIY
      @LKNDIY  2 года назад +1

      Hi Houlie, Large crabgrass is controlled at the 3.2g rate (the final chart on label) best to target crabgrass early with Celsius. Also feel free to try speedzone south. Stuff is awesome.
