I went to see their concert at Tokyo in July where they did all their discography in 3 days, I went to one of the three, and my god how their live is incredible. It was my first time in Japan and it's easiest my favourite memory from there. I was absorbed in it the whole 2 hours and thought it only lasted 15 minutes. I guarantee you guys, if when you travel to Japan you manage to be close to one of their concerts, please go see them. Even my sister that don't listen to them and went there with 0 knowledge of them loved it and said it was one of her best experience in Japan. They truly are incredible.
To me, this band is like the musical equivalent of when a group of friends know each other so well that they are constantly finishing each other's sentences in a conversation so alive that you as an observer cannot predict where it's going to go.
Great!. This is their third drummer, Syouto Saito. Each time they have been finding a more complete one. I don´t know man, in Japan outstanding drummers must grow from trees.
LOL I just found out Sokoninaru has their version of Idol (from Yasobi) and It's absolutely amazing!!! Tony, you should check out that, at least on your own.
10 minutes is too short to digest this song or this band even. Sokoninaru do this live perfectly with all the stop and change tempo, pattern, effect. On top of that, theirs vocals still stable with all different harmony. Sound crazy right to be true, but that's Sokoninaru for you
Just a follow up Tony, in case you see this. Juko (guitar/vocals) personally writes ALL of the drum parts. That is how they survived for 10 years without an actual 'band' drummer. I have no idea if he plays drums himself, but I know that he constructs all the melody, meter and timing of his songs, including the drums, tracks it, and gives Misaki (bass) and the drummer (now Saito) the demo. No idea how they make it work, and I think you'd have to actually Be There to know what was going on. But, Juko gets ALL writing and arranging credits on their songs.
And if you like super fast song, Kyokugenwa setsuna “ please! Yes, Lament moment, another unpredictable song. Melodic …. I like “Zettaiteji sanpunkan”.
Hi Tony, thanks for breaking this song down, definitely one of my favourite bands but I possibly don’t appreciate the nuance’s until you pointed them all out 👍😝 Hey for some incredible SOKONINARU magic please check out my favourite song of theirs , it’s actually one of the covers they do , it’s a mash up of 3 different songs (some parts the 3 songs are on the go simultaneously) and recorded live in 1 take, absolutely mind blowing stuff. Just reference SOKONINARU Suspended 4th to find it. I had to watch it at least a dozen times just to take in all that they are doing, just how the drummer can play ferociously but with his head pinpoint still singing into a microphone, then the bass player Misaki goes from picking to slapping and back to picking Any way, thanks for what you’ve doing here 👍🇦🇺🇦🇺🤘
Good analisys and reaction! Because you are good musician you understand the complexity and their musical talent. Some reactors just saying "They are just showing off, it's too much, not good. " .... those reactors are just jerous, ca they can't play or write like them.
Some extreme technical stuff may seem like it gets old after a while, but this band I can listen to on repeat without any issue and even on re-listens it doesn't lose it's magic. Sokoninaru are truly in a class of their own.
I'm so glad to see you back with Sokoninaru. There was too much anime songs on your channel lately... Speaking of anime songs, BAND-MAID just released "Shamble". It's an ending song for second season of the anime KENGAN ASHURA 😆😏
@@DrumRollTonyReacts That was a joke to introduce BAND-MAID’s new song. Sorry 🤗 I really liked your reaction so I posted it to Sokoninaru’s singer and he answered me with a thumb up. Not sure if he watched it 😄
Another awesome song from them! Thanks again for pointing out and sharing the things most folks will miss, not understand, and just flat out not appreciate just how special this band is. The new drummer Shoto Saito is an amazing player AND CAN SING WHILE DOING THE IMPOSSIBLE( that just breaks my mind). If they ever come to the US, I will be there. Also they have a tendency to record play through vids for their videos if you want to see a little of what they're doing: Drum (ruclips.net/video/bUV9HNa9liE/видео.html), Bass (ruclips.net/video/-m6MeQw_Zjc/видео.html), Guitar (ruclips.net/video/2Rf_55qb1i0/видео.html)

I was afraid they'd disappeared ...yes they're still going strong by looks of this!!!

And if you like super fast song, Kyokugenwa setsuna “ please!
Yes, Lament moment, another unpredictable song.
Melodic …. I like “Zettaiteji sanpunkan”.

Holy smokes. So much musical protein it made me check to see if the playback speed was set to normal.
Just found your channel, I’m enjoying the content can’t wait for more 🎉

Another request from me to check out more Ado. She is amazing and the One Piece film red music was sung by her.
No doubt they are very talented and creative but personally I don't like their music at all, it's just my own preference.
