Great reaction Champ. Beside B-M, Sokoninaru is my second go to band. I absolutely love them. I had the unbeatable pleasure and privilege to see them live here twice in Switzerland right before the Pandemic took over - they had to interrupt their Europe tour sadly. And I can assure you they bring that complex stuff live as on the studio recordings. Sokoninaru is not just a masterclass in composition and musicianship. It’s also an intellectual masterclass. How do you remember all that live in an 1 ½ concert? My brain would melt long before the end. Great stuff indeed.
Thanks, your reaction was fun to watch, and made me feel less stupid for not understanding what they're doing! The most incomprehensible thing is how they can be so complex, jump about so much, and yet the melodies still stick in my head for days.
This Song is SO Mindblowing ...I Love all of them,MIsakis Bass is brillant,Yuko is complete Nuts....and i have no Words for Syoto ...🤯🤯 Your Reaction🤣🤣🤩
4:37 finally an accurate representation of my own reaction lmao I discovered this band a couple of weeks ago on Ryan's channel, and they've been blowing my mind ever since. crazy stuff since their first album, I highly recommend checking out more 🤘
They're my favorite band for the same reason Dali is one of my favorite visual artists. They put out a live version of "VortEx" and it's equally bonkers while having the kind of melody that's still in my head after a week. Also, if you get a chance, check out "Complicated System." It's my favorite song of theirs for many of the same reasons, but it's also one of their more personal songs.
I wondered if there's a layered percussion track or effects but I can't tell. This is nucking futs. But yes, it sounds good. Unfortunately that's the key. All this amazing chaos going on but it's so well structured and it sounds and flows so well. Thanks Champ, you always sound good.
I adore this band!! The skills, the creativity, and then they just seem so oddly wholesome too ❤ BTW if you like crazy stuff that switches all the time, have you heard of Paledusk? I recommend their songs Happy Talk and BLACK ICE.
Check out Sokoninaru's official channel, they recently uploaded a little "making off" of the drum recording for this song. The guy is that good indeed! And seeing the guitarist playing drums is one of the most hilarious things ever!
Their sound is derived from Ling Tosite Sigure (凛として時雨), Juko and Misaki began as a Ling Tosite Sigure cover band. Sokoniru has taken the frenetic changes found in many of LTS songs and made the style their own. Not all of LTS songs are structured in this way, but Telecastic Fake Show ruclips.net/video/lqYCMxhgeSU/видео.html comes close to what has become the Sokoninaru signature sound. Here's the Sokoninaru cover ruclips.net/video/9ikvozrnLhw/видео.html Ling Tosite Sigure is a difficult band to react to because they craft entire albums or one fluid concert experience and taking individual songs out of context can be perplexing. Boukan 傍観 ruclips.net/video/mHzByVsm_NI/видео.html is a very un-Sokoninaru song that LTS frequently end their concerts with.
Cool reaction. Didn't start listening to this band until a few months ago but since You wandered what the drummer.... s were doing here is the drumcam. ruclips.net/video/bUV9HNa9liE/видео.html Anyways, keep reacting.
Welcome aboard the insanity express. =) Thank you for such an honest and genuine reaction. Yes you are correct. They are legitimately that incredibly talented and yes, they can do it live. I've been writing music for over 30 years and they broke my mind as to what a song can, or should, be. While I still enjoy other music, there is no artist that challenges my mind like they do consistently. Hell their song on the xmas album is unbelievable: ruclips.net/video/bP93q8rz57o/видео.html.
I love these guys! As a bassist, especially Misaki! One of my bass idols even though her style is very different from mine. And yes, please absolutely check out the live video for VortEx! It's amazing!
What a gerat band. Have you heard "Tenohira de Odoru"? I think Asian musicians in general are so skillfull, creative and they master their stuff. Hahaha, I need a hug an a cigarette. This songs makes you tired, like drained cause our brain can´t process it all. It is a brain freeze.
If you wanna see them being looser and more traditional they've been posting a bunch of covers, like they covered maximum the hormone, radwimps, gen hoshino and more. They're all fun watches
It’s cool that it’s still halfway listenable. But actually it’s more of a mathematical equation than music. Do they help the song really? I don’t know. It’s definitely interesting but if you would slow it down is it still good? Or is it just the speed up making it interesting? Will listen to it now in a half speed if it’s still interesting and makes sense then I am really impressed. The other big question is does it need to be so overflown by breaks and stuff going on or would otherwise the song be not interesting to listen to anymore? I always am most impressed by the easiest but still catchy and unique songs and music that builds in a more natural but still surprising way. This for me is not at all natural. So many cuts and studio crap going on. Live it’s annoying after three songs. Actually it’s speed up version of Frank Zappa stuff 🤣

To write it, play it, then actually be able to play it live , they are outstanding 👍🇦🇺🤟

Oh, "Hyōjō no Maisō [Burial on the Ice]". Beautiful ..., awesome song.
Wht a great song. I wish I could know the title, or I wish I could speak Japanese, ha.
There’s more content and talent in the intro to a SOKONINARU song than most bands can put in a entire album
yo, Champ, type or copy/paste this 【ドラム】そこに鳴る「最低」ソロカット sokoninaru/saitei(drum cam) on yt and you can enjoy this drumming insanity in full :)

I know what make your head blown out, watch their live performance, the song is vortex, recently came out. Please check that too
Great song and I enjoyed seeing your mind break.

this is the only band in the world that will never have a cover band... cos no one can...
Their music is a little out there for me, but their talent is undeniable. Not too surprising considering how important music education is in Japan.

reaction to gazette - ugly mv and live
I know they are talented but I just don't like their songs.
