Brock, thanks for the invite out to Rockhill Farm! I appreciate you putting this video together and sharing some knowledge with me about RUclips content creation.
I have had mine for a couple years now and really appreciate it. I have had 2 back surgeries and do not like lifting the big heavy rounds anymore. Works great especially for a 1 man operation when there is no one around to help lift the big logs. My splitter does not have the hydraulic side lift and I do not enjoy standing the splitter up on end and trying to wrestle the large rounds under the ram to split them, so this is the perfect solution for my operation.
Interesting idea, but the winch makes it so slow. I can see myself getting impatient with screwing the hand wheel in and out, the slow winching, dropping a log on the battery cable, etc. But while it won't work for me, I can see it satisfying the need for some.
Great video, as always. I've got rods and screws in my back and am missing a leg, love to see new products, but this one seems maybe more trouble to work with. But being able to swing the unslpit part out of the way was pretty neat.
Great video. It's definitely a good piece for lifting blocks up to the spliter if you don't have a tractor. I have rod and plates in my back and anything that can help someone to be able to still split wood in great invention in my books
@@RockhillfarmYT I mean I get it, people searching for this type of tool probably don't have the ability to make it. But that price tag is simply price gouging at best.

Thanks guys.

I used to be into all that grunt work, but not anymore! Winches are awesome tools!
This looks like a great alternative to a log lift

Built my own from stuff around the ranch. Had to buy the wench, but it's great.

I have used it a LOT for getting wood into my truck. It's a little slow for a splitter, but better than hurting your back
thanks
Hey, I know these two folks!
938$.... Thats absolute insanity.
Too cheap?

My splitter tips up for pieces too big to lift. A lot less screwing around.
Some people I guess just like to over complicate their lives.
I am surprised it doesn't drag the front of the splitter a round.
You just made a slow process 20x slower. Absolutely ridiculous
