No one is hating. It's just facts that American cars are usually on the top charts when it comes to recalls. And GM is the #1 in a decade span. And GM had so many lawsuits than any other
And just because your vehicle has no problem don't justify it's built well. Maybe you just got lucky. At the end of the day quality control is never a priority for American cars. Its all about money(American greed).

My father is retired from GM. I worked in the Lake Orion plant for a summer after high school. You have never in your life ever encountered a more spoiled, entitled, lazy bunch of people in my entire life ever since. Just being honest. we had a guy show up drunk every single day to drive a fork lift and no supervisors would say shit to him because it just meant union hassles. It was an endless list of laziness that I've never seen before in my 30 years since. If a supervisor asked ANYONE to do something the standard answer was "Go fuck yourself its not my job". After that summer I had a whole new outlook on "hard working autoworkers". I helped a guy catch up one time that was behind on his job and literally i though i was going to get beat up by other workers because "Thats not your job". It was the craziest shit I'd ever seen. Ive got 100 stories from that summer. We wont even begin with the massive amount of drinking and drug use on the job.

I'd never be able to tolerate that kind of work, but salute those that do. The unions have management teams in every division by the gonads. There was a plethora of cameras throughout the assembly lines too. Nobody goes untoticed. A balancing act between workers and management for sure.

      You would get another GMC?
Even if you know that they betrayed the Allies and the United States by selling to the to both Axis and Allied nations?
Even if you know that GM sold out the innocent U.S. civilians of Flint, Michigan? After all, they KNEW about the toxic water and kept quiet - in exchange for special favors and incentives to keep their plant operating in the region (like a custom treatment system to treat the poisoned water before it was used on their materials).
My GMC is the LAST GM I will ever own and most of its parts aren't even GM anyway. Besides, as an experienced mech/tech with a degree in Automotive Technologies, I can say without hesitation that while loyalists and low-standard muricans may like newer GM trucks (most newer trucks aren't going to be problematic), but they are hardly well made or "quality" vehicles.
He'll, even the once disgraced Dodge Ram has caught up to GM in build quality at this point- and both STILL languish behind Toyota in overall reliability and quality of materials/assembly.
      Anyway, enjoy your hitlermobiles.

The Chevy plants, as well as the Ford plants, in the 60's and 70's were filled with laughter, happy faces! Most of the robots are in body and paint shop. The jobs they do would be brutal on humans these days. What welder is going to want to sit on a production line doing spot welds all day? What painter would want to sit in a booth painting cars all day at a rate that's needed for the demand of vehicles being ordered? It's just no practical having humans doing some of these jobs anymore. We are making 600 units per shift in the plant I work in. Robots create skilled trades jobs too that pay very good. The more robots, the more skilled trades. Plenty of jobs are still human jobs in final where a human touch is needed.
