I’m still a little confused on the glitch, so what Double LL was seeing on his screen was completely different than Ryukis/ bums screen? The connection split? Very confused.
It could be a rollback glitch. Both sides seem like they are receiving inputs from the other player but the game's state is completely out of sync. So it looks like the other side is just pressing random buttons.
Yes, it's a rollback glitch. It's the same thing that used to happen all the time in Granblue. It's hard to explain but think of it like this: the two player's inputs go to a server, the server has an issue with syncing he player's inputs to one another, which causes what you seen. It's easier to think about when you look at fighting games less as the two players sharing a screen and more of the inputs of players going to a server and that server distributes the inputs to each player.
