    The blue tool you have to lay out your marks. Did you make that or can they be purchased? And how many degrees do you bend those two pieces?

    • @Smffab
      @Smffab  5 месяцев назад +2

      They are sold by a guy called Gizfab. Has a youtube and a website where they can be bought. those bend were 15 deg.

    Again, how do you weld the inside of the "y" which looks like Tig can't reach in?
    Thanks

    • @Smffab
      @Smffab  Год назад +2

      The way to do it is have more stick out with the electrode and it can reach and get a decent weld.

    i tried to weld 2 in 1 at 10 deg and could not, i had to increase angle to 15 deg, and i barely made( to have hermetic-no leak)

      These are 15 degrees bends

      @@Smffab i cut pipes at 15 deg and it has more space in the narrowest place than yours-it looks as 10 deg cut. i did not bent pipes, i just cut straight pipes at 15 deg and welded 2 in 1

    I’m in the same boat. I guess I’ll have to do the same. What did you have it made from?

    • @Smffab
      @Smffab  8 месяцев назад +1

      This is just made from steel, but should really harden it or make it from tool steel as the stainless steel chews it up a little bit, but it’s fine for now.

      no, where are you based? There are fab companies that do sell them premade, like Fabco in the uk for example.

      @@Smffab , no I am in France and would like to have same « Y » but for a 1977 Honda CB350 twin engine. Do you think you could do it if I give you the in-and-out Ø of the exhaust tubes?
