In the cheese there is animal rennet, so it isn't vegetarian.

Yes! My Dad and me are also obsessed with aubergine (what we call eggplant in the U.K). There is an amazing authentic Italian restaurant near my house so we have pizza with chargrilled aubergine and courgettes when he visits....It's delicious.

That first pastry and mozzarella sounds heavenly right now. I love how fresh mozzarella is, I rarely feel weighed down after eating it.
I'm in Rome, that is near Naples. Here you gotta pay 10e a Kg to get the real mozzarella from naples, only in the best shops. All the othe ones are not realmozzarella, except for some areas in Puglia, deep south, that have great mozzarella, but it's made with cow milk, not buffalo milk
Mozzarella is mozzarella even when is cow milk. They are two different products and the fiordilatte one is actually the real mozzarella for pizza, because the less liquid. Of course Napoli (not only Napoli, a vast area in the South - actually) does the best artisanal mozzarella. But also the ones we can find at supermarkets. Even Grana Padano is kinda 'not-real-Parmigiano-Reggiano', but it doesn't mean is not the same kind of cheese and is not good, although it's cheaper. @@adofonconi9753

I went there. The streets are absolutely filthy and the buildings are falling apart unless you're in the center of the city

I live in Naples, The food is made with tradition and passion, and sometimes they give you stuff for free if they found you funny. The people are just amazing. Like if you get hurt (falling on the ground or other), the locals even without speaking your language, will try to help you. But like the others said, the streets are absolute garbage. A lot of potholes, random trash on the ground that no one picks up, and a good amount of house's are slowly falling apart. But If you leave the Urban areas, and go to the more Rural areas, you wouldn't want to leave for how beautiful the scenery is lol. Basically: Enogastronomy=Amazing, Society=Lovely, Infrastructure=Bad, Scenery=Beautiful.
You serious lol probably the dirtiest city in Western Europe. The air quality is terrible too cause the mafia burn trash all around the outskirts of the city

Baba' is a dessert originally from POLAND ( and not france) that french chefs developed in napoleon age and finally Naples patisseries completed in the recipe and shape actually the whole world knows as the typical perfect rum baba', typical sublime neapolitan cake.

They get seafood daily since the sea is right there and they make everything fresh.

Been to italy didnt really like the food tbh but the deserts were awesome especially pistachio croissant and wines too were awesome i had high expectations from the food but didn't like it
