He has the wonderment of a child. We should all be this excited by Nature.
🙏 amen
He has a lot of things as a child. I heard he’s got a baby dick and the iq of a 3 year old.
Not only a great meteorologist but Jim Cantore adds humor and enthusiasm to his coverage..you can't top that..making the view worth it.
Keep up the show Jim!
Gary Winters He's like WGN TV Weatherman Tom Skilling. Both make the weather look interesting and you actually learn from them. That's why I always prefer Tom Skilling because of not only how accurate his weather reports are but he makes it interesting that I want to learn more about the weather.
Shut up gary😑
That's passion man!
I can't blame him, that's pretty sweet.
Actually it's pretty frightening when driving through a bad snowstorm. Had it happen to me while on my way home on the highway. It freaked everyone on the road out because no one was expecting a lighting flash accompanied by a loud thunder crack in the middle of winter. I thought something exploded. Could have easily caused a bad car accident that would have been compounded by shitty roads but luckily everyone on the highway hit breaks at the same time avoiding a bad situation.
@@TheMissingLink2 That's entirely understandable. Extreme weather patterns are never without their dangers and hazards. But it is a fascinating event due to it's odd and rare nature. I do wish everyone safety in harsh weather.
I half expected him to start yelling, "I AM SNOW THUNDER GOD!"
The weather man’s reaction was so cute and funny
His reaction fills me with joy. What a genuine feeling of excitement
This is a toned down version of me going through my first thunder snow storm..... I thought I was going mad when I saw lighting in a blizzard then I heard the thunder haha.
That voice makes everything more epic than it already is and makes me want to watch it more lol
It's nice to see someone so excited about something like this. It's nice to appreciate the little gifts that our all powerful mother earth gives to us.
This man is the true definition of, "when you find a job that you love, you'll never work a day in your life!"
Just experienced this in Stockholm, Sweden
It’s exceptionally rare for it to happen here, in fact it’s extremely rare and I’ve never experienced it before
We get that quite often in Cape Breton Island . Nova Scotia 🇨🇦🇨🇦🇨🇦🇨🇦🇨🇦
Jim Cantore is as happy as a husky puppy outside with the first snow of the season.
Jim´s excitement is that of a little kid who just won at school bingo and I love it
I witnessed thundersnow as well a few years ago while driving home in the evening, living here in the province of Groningen in The Netherlands. Although I did not have any video of it, the experience was awesome.
1:30 😂😂😂😂
1:30 just as he started to catch his breath 🤣🤣🤣🤣
Jim Cantore is a very good meteorologist.. always loved his passion for the storm!! 😂❤🌦️
Experienced it once in Chicago 20+ years ago. It was pretty wild!
You lying fuck🙄
@@doshygabbana641well have you ever been in a tornado no ok
Hahah I’m in Chicago right now and it’s snowing and made me search for this video. Crazy
There's currently a snowstorm where I am in October 23 night-time and not only did I hear a thunder during a snowstorm for the first time in my life, it also was probably the 2nd loudest lightning I've ever heard (the 1st being one that landed approx. 20m away from my house).
Just experienced that for the first time in my life right now during a snowstorm in Montreal. What an event.
No human ever gonna turn down 500mill over thunderstorm ....except this guy
Watching Jim Cantore go nuts was even more fun than the thunder snow! *grin*
This dude really likes weather
Just had some thunder snow in Michigan! It took me a while but I remembered his reaction to it & it was pretty cool.
I only saw thundersnow once in Steamboat Springs! It is so fructing awesome! It is a God event!
When you live in Florida so you be like ;-;
David Marin right totally cannot relate

Makin sure i can put this in my D&D campaign
Love this guy!
Thunder Snow! How exciting to see. Love Jim's excitement, I'd love to have been there !
We had thunder snow here in Kentucky a couple weeks ago
Jim is really a down to earth man awesome.
Nature is the most scary and beautiful thing on Earth. It’s sad to see it slowly wither away
Real talk
WE GOT IT BABY WOOOOO
It has been happening today in St. John's, Newfoundland, Canada!! I caught two flashes about 4 hours ago.
I’m so glad he’s found his thing in life. But I have to wonder what else he gets extremely excited about?
Like, bowling a strike 🤔
Ok he made me smile😂 ❤ the energy
Stunning Weather!!!!❤❤❤❤
24th of January in Hampshire South England a massive one happened. It woke most of us up, some even thinking it was a bomb. It was so powerful yet so amazing.
This happened yesterday night, it scared the crap out of me 😂
In the seventies I was in Birmingham AL trucking through it snowed like that with l ightning it snowed so hard it was a complete whiteout for 10 minutes and three inches of snow fell, there were wrecks everywhere.
Ha. I love his excitement! Oh, wow. Love it.
“That’s a twofer!” Third times a charm and gets struck… I’d have laughed 😂
I’m from Canada, I’m 37… and I’ve never seen lightning or heard thunder during a snow storm.
16” is a normal thing here! We get that in an hour or two during blizzards. My neighbour went into labour during a winter storm, 2 years ago and had to be dug out and brought to the hospital on a snow mobile. Her water broke, opened the front door and there was a wall of snow with an imprint from her door pattern in a flat wall of snow. The drifts slammed her house and she had 15’ of snow piled up against it.
This happens a lot around the great lakes.
I live in Toronto, it has taken me 27 years to hear any lightning snow storms. Just had my first lightning snow storm tonight!
@@injusticeanywherethreatens265 Awesome! I lived in Michigan, Ohio and Pennsylvania for a number of years. I remember one time I was driving home from college on the highway in very heavy snow storm. Near white out conditions in the late afternoon. It was around sunset but still plenty of light to see. As I was coming around the ramp, I heard the loudest crack of thunder I ever heard and lightning streaked across the sky lighting everything up like it was one of those white back drops you see in commercials. Everything was just straight white. Thought there was an explosion or something. Scared the hell out of me and everyone else on the highway because everyone immediately slammed on their breaks. Haha. That was the first time I've experienced it driving. I had seen it rarely before while at home and a few times after. Still a rare phenomenon to catch happening but it's cool to see when you do. Thanks for jogging my memory. That happened 10 years ago or so. Always get a kick out of recalling that one.
@@TheMissingLink2 You're welcome. I had something happen where I was in my apartment and a lightningrod nearby got struck and I thought a plane crash had happened or something. LOUDEST thing ever lol!
I've witnessed this in in the Upper Peninsula. It was amazing.
I just experienced this tonight in Kitchener Ontario Canada. Wow it was LOUD and bright!
Never seen it, despite growing up in Iowa where there is PLENTY of snow and PLENTY of thunderstorms.
I heard thunder snow only ONCE in my life and it was when I was about 6-8 years old.
Just happened here a little west of Boston 😊 first time I've ever heard it, still have yet to see it
“That’s a twofer babey” instant classic
2:05 ill still keep my 500million jack pot and buy myself a fifer thunder storm, lol
A few years ago we had a thunder snow storm in southern England. It was awesome.
I've never seen a thunder during a snowstorm... And I've lived in Canada for 30 years...
I so remember this in NE that same year was with child delivering papers in 2015!!!!
How Magical ❤
It’s almost like Jim Cantore has some kind of energy field that triggers thundersnow...
This happened where I live, last night! I was blown away. Never seen it before!
I had this happen to me last night from work! It happened twice as I looked around when it was snowing but when it was the second time I couldn’t believe it
LOL, I crack up laughing every time I see this! I've been in 2 thundersnows, and saw another one over the city of Seattle, so I guess I've been lucky.
Jim needs to be a baseball announcer😂
I love this video this is amazing video video please stay safe
I would normally be pissed but if I ever see anything like this imma be so happy
Dear Narrator....You are only an amateur compared to Jim Cantore.
Because only Jim Cantore has had 6 or more experiences with thunder-snow. That makes EVERYBODY an amateur.
Point well taken.
Mighty Thor has awakened
now that's passion
I went to Connecticut for a wedding during a blizzard that affected the entire east coast. I was standing by the window of my hotel room watching the storm outside when I heard the "thunderstorm". It was the only time in my life I experienced it and I must say I was stunned. I had no idea that it could even happen....then I remembered a dream I had about a bedraggled white kitten in God's lap. I woke up from that and I kept wanting to say that God had thunder thighs. My daughter, who came with me but didn't attend the wedding, had a dream about a white cat the same night as my cat dream. Her cat was running about, doing flips and just enjoying itself. Well, she went to a basket ball game, got interviewed by reporters and generally had a great time. My kitten was bedraggled cause I had a bad toothache. There was only one other time that my daughter and I had the same sort of dream on the same night. It makes you wonder, yes?
This happens in NJ alot
Extremely rare? But I've heard it before. Twice in a row. In "boring Iowa."
I've lived in northern MN all my life and I've only heard it once when I was a teenager. I feel like I'm missing out lol
Love a man that loves his job! Tee hee...
We had that it was crazy! 😃🌨🌩🌨🌩🌨🌨🌩🌩🌨🌩🌩🌩🌨🌨🌨🌩🌩🌩🌩🌩🌩🌩🌩🌩🌩🌨🌩🌨🌩🌩🌨
Experienced that once, it was pretty awesome.
I just saw lightning up here in Erie, Pennsylvania tonight on 11/28/2021. There's a blizzard right now, and lightning struck twice that I saw, and it was the strangest thing for me, so I just had to look it up.
Man I'd love to experience this
It's very very eerie. Strange. I've seen it once in Nebraska growing up
@@joshuaallen240 I bet it is
Anyone else think Jim Cantore is very good looking? I do!
I live right outside of Boston and vividly remember driving home at night on the highway with my mom during a blizzard and hearing thunder and seeing a flash lighting no less than a mile from us.
First time I’ve ever ruined a pair of pants
I just heard some thunder! 2:30 am New Jersey… having nor’easter now.
We just had this in Bowie MD
Can't believe Fleetwood Mac would lie to me like that
man, your right there is thundersnow. But can it be in Canada?
WHOOOOOO THE RICK FLAIR OF WEATHER
here in Illinois last night
"listen to that!"
"I'm trying Jim now shut the fuck up!"
I’m literally having a thundersnow in Poland, Łódź city
I experienced this today around Fultonville ny at around 2-3am it was extremely bright
Just had thunder snow in Rochester.
If that man leaves that career, he could easily be a wrestling commentator
Heck yeah!!!!!
In the upper Midwest, we see these storms at least once every year or two.
Me, who lives in Massachusetts: first time, huh?
I never knew Alex Jones was so interested in obscure extreme weather events
Err - no Jim, I'll take the $500 million Thunderball jackpot if it's okay with you! Good storm though.
Just happened in Worcester MA
This happened to me when I lived in Louisville KY. It was a light snow that morning and and suddenly it started. Scared the shit outta me. Because at the time I didn't think it was even possible 😅
Thundersnow thundersnow baby, vanilla thundersnow thundersnow baby
This is something I have not seen in UK, a real shame since I would actually really like to see this myself.
It just happened again tonight in Massachusetts
Well, the UK does not have a lot of snow
Just experienced this for the first time ever and it was quite something it was a pretty loud one
Gawwwd... i thought he got hit the first time he freaked out.
That's actually rare I never saw lightning in a snow storm
I've seen it only ONCE my whole life.
It just happened here in NH!!!!! Parts of Concord NH, Laconia NH, Barnstead NH witnessed the thunder snow but they didn't know what it was because it' so rare!!
Its more common around lake areas, such as the states and provinces surrounding the great lakes.
I've seen this a time or two
I just experienced thundersnow. Its a blizzard rn
In Oklahoma I've witnessed this "thunder-snow" every time we have a snow storm since a child I'm 24 now how is this rare?
