- I hope you enjoy this recording of the 'Star-spangled Banner' which is the National anthem of the United States of America. This live recording was made during my concert at Methuen Memorial Music Hall which took place on Flag Day, which gave us the chance to play the National Anthem! This is an amazing interpretation of our national anthem on an incredible instrument. The famous organ at the Mormon Tabernacle was modeled on this organ.

Why does he sit on a separate bench/manuals and not on the "original" one under the wooden/carved part? 🤔
The original console was deactivated when the organ was moved to Methuen. Because that console was recessed into the case, the organist could not properly hear the organ's sound.
Just awesome. Excellent. I just watched a couple of videos about how the Star Spangled Banner came to be. Absolutely emotional. When you know the price our forefathers at Fort McHenry paid to keep that flag flying in 1814, and prevent the British from going on up the river & destroying unarmed cities along the way.. Well all I can say is I cried like a baby.
