- This fandom archival video highlights the second Chuck E. Cheese / ShowBiz Pizza fan convention from July 29th, 2005. CheeseVention hosts Jenn Waitt & J. Hubbard, in conjunction with ShowBizPizza.com, organized this event in Salem / Danvers, MA. Both Jenn and J went above and beyond to create a beautifully decorated convention hall, and event that topped the original in every way imaginable!
This video is a vintage work, with the original footage shot on video tape. It was digitized onto DVD-format and sold following the event to help raise money for future CheeseVentions - which continued through 10 consecutive years!
Aside from those who purchased hand-produced copies in those early years, this program has largely been lost to time and a piece of CEC fandom lost media. But here it is (unedited, save for a few muted seconds prior to the live show segment) for fans to see, experience, and watch for perhaps the first time ever.

I don’t know if I already said this but, if this convention happened in modern day, CEC would’ve busted in, sued everyone, taken the costumes, destroyed them, and force the creators of the event to never touch anything CEC related
The thing is there were things like this in modern day . Chuck e con 2018-2020 and Chuck es place 2022 were things like this and CEC was completely fine with it
CEC did object to us having extra performers (and non-CEC characters) performing AT an actual location, which makes sense. We started running into issues with the RAE characters later down the road (because of course that would happen) but Aaron still allowed their inclusion through the final event in 2013. But there came a point where he no longer wanted them appearing WITH the CEC characters.

Er, possibly? I think Richard was using a large camera that used actual VHS for the main filming.

So, you guys also need to upload the Canobie Lake Park Appearance(s) that were attached to this DVD too. They are like, also lost to time and there's also like ZERO FOOTAGE of the Bozo Show from that park so you'd be doing us all a huge favor!! 😁
It’s definitely going to be added. We debated including it all in one video (main show program & bonus features) but then decided to do the bonus stuff separately. I think once the main program for 1-6 are uploaded we’ll start adding the bonus feature compilations. The CV1 one is already finished and ready for upload.
