Op 55 no 2 is one of my favourite nocturnes; I was so joyed to have one of the best Chopin pianists in the world to play it. By the way, even the Appassionata was amazing as hell. Oh man, the Mephisto Waltz was played effortlessly.
In 2010 he played perfectly in the Chopin competition but, for my personal taste, he was sooo boring. Ten years later, there are more wrong notes but his playing is very emotional.
I don’t know he always played fast with expression no idea what others see he lacks. He add expression with his faces too. You can tell when he likes a song.
Absolutely agree with you then. But listening now, his playing looks me something neglected, not at the same incredible level in 2010. Then was one of the most promising new piano stars, and now is one pianist more....
@treefingers Actually he just limited the number of concerts but has never stopped :))) He appears as a pianist as well as a conductor, he composes.. Music is his life. He just doesn’t “rat-race” as it’s common in this circle. Instead, he decided some time ago to focus on activities that popularize artistic education and raise awareness how important it is for humanity. This takes lots of time, effort and work (not in the spotlight!) but there is a bigger sense of mission behind it :)) so it’s worth it! It’s definitely exciting and never boring. Please, feel free to follow him on Instagram or other sm where he sometimes shares what he does. I think it’s interesting. Best regards! PW

Words can not describe .......
Yes they can. Choose your words, but choose them wisely.
Best interpreter of Chopin
This amazing Beethoven will be famous in thousand years!!!
One very great pianist playing full out!
Programma impegnativo. Artista sempre all'altezza. Bellissima esecuzione, sicura e coinvolgente. Posizione meritata alla competizione del 2010.
A great artist.
Mil gracias ! Maravilloso
This may have broken the curse of 2020! 😁
It was a unique interpret
And i heard huge emotions
But i felt less fascinating than 2010..
Excellent 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
C o l o s s a l programme !
Genius.... Wander,Wander ,Wanderfull.
La Appassionata ....muy rara versión en el final
私の心は いつもあなたの所に居るよ…💕
He cut half of the descendent arpeggio at 15:40 off !!! If that is valid, I'm gonna do the same...That arpg is hard as f....! :)

Why ?
he should have won 2010
Absolutely agree with you then. But listening now, his playing looks me something neglected, not at the same incredible level in 2010. Then was one of the most promising new piano stars, and now is one pianist more....
@@MrPrestoconfuocco I believe he stopped performing (regularly) for several years now. Running his business instead

@@tree_fingers I don't get it... what business?
What happened to Mephisto waltz? It’s weird.
