I got the idea for this mask after looking at loads of pictures of owls and birds to draw. Even though making this mask is seriously easy it's time and patience you'll need cause it took me around 3 hours to make this one, mind you it's worth the time once it's finished.
P.S. sorry it's taken so long for me to upload a new video. I can't afford to not focus on University work at the moment so I won't be recording again till the 2nd of June when the semester ends. But after that I'll have the whole summer to record like crazy :D

I used this tutorial and made an amazing mask! I got so many compliments on it. Thank you for making a tutorial for something so beautiful, and thank you for making the instructions so clear. I made one for my dad with a silver to black ombre glitter and it worked great!
I'm making it right now and it is gorgeous already, with only the feathers :) it really takes a long time but is definitely worth it!
This is really fantastic! I can see it in other color variations as well- creams and golds, or iridescent feathers that shift and change in the light. It could be fun to make your own mask base with papier mache as well!
I actually found some absolutely AMAZING materials at the sporting goods store, believe it or not, in the fly-tying area. Beautiful feathers and furs, iridescent threads and fibers... amazing stuff. Just breathtakingly beautiful.

@Snoo1809 I am going to try and find time to show how to make the mask but for the moment I would recommend you just buy the mask from a costume shop or online

This is perfect for my daughter, she gets terrible eczema on her face and cannot wear any kind of makeup, she always gets so upset at halloween, I'm pretty sure this will stop tears this year!

3+hours to make this mask. I so don't have the patience. It would end up taking me days because after 15 min.s of work w/ delicate feathers like that, I would get frustrated and give up!

Amazing! looks so fancy. 1-3 hours is long but worth it since it's so fancy and creative.

yes but it doesn't give of the more life like affect and it really depends on what sort of masquerade party it is if it is posh then leave them off but if it is a full out party then I would suggest wearing the BIGGEST most flirty lashes
