Happy Birthday Ben! 🎂🎁🍰🎉🎊 What a cracking way to see in the beginning of another year of life 🤣👍 Top work bud. That hail looked brutal. Massive hail stones! I look forward to the UTS kit breakdown soon. All the best mate! 😎🤘
Thanks Ben 😀 Definitely, was lucky to have the birthday fall on a Saturday this year so I could get some decent running in. Was glad the hail didn't turn up whilst I was actually running 😅
🎊🎂HAPPY BIRTHDAY Ben!!🎂🎊 Lovely lovely birthday present to yourself, despite the hail🌨, all part of the adventure!!! I've wanted to run my age for my birthday for a while now, but since I didn't even start running until I was 57, I haven't been capable of it yet!😂 I'll be 62 in November so MAYBE that will be the time to tackle it, IF I've sufficiently recovered from the Festival des Templiers Boffi 50 in October!!! And 🐣🐇HAPPY EASTER too!!🐇🐣
Thanks Bev. It was good to try this at last after my birthday falling on a week day or recovering from races for the last few years. Would definitely recommend! This could be the year you give it a go 😀
What an epic birthday challenge, tackling 34 miles for 34 years! I would prefer kilometers for those birthday runs, hehe! The stunning views and ever-changing weather made for a memorable run. Happy birthday, Ben!
Thanks both. Always love to get up to Devil's Dyke. Hadn't been in a while so thought I should pay it a visit 🤓 Weird weather at the mo, very changeable!
Thanks Ian 😀 Happy with training so far just need to keep upping that elevation and I'll be good to go. This was a great excuse to eat a lot of cake after!
Decent amount of elevation. Nice run. I think I know which day this was - I had a beautiful run in the morning in Surrey and watched in the afternoon as the hail battered down! Out of interest, when you put your rain jacket on what do you do about storing your poles? I noticed you store them in your belt, but that is under your rain jacket?
Thanks Graham. It changes pretty quickly in the afternoon, felt like two different days! When I put my rain jacket on I put my belt over the rain jacket if I'm storing the poles.
Excellent stuff. All the weathers. What more could you ask for, especially on a birthday too! 🎂
Thanks for watching, weather like that makes it interesting at least!
A terrific looking birthday experience, Ben. Many happy returns mate 😁👍🏻
Thanks Mark, nice way to spend a birthday 😀
Happy belated birthday Ben and what a way to celebrate it, a proper running way to celebrate it.
Thanks Olga! Enjoyed taking this on as a bit of a birthday challenge this year

Thanks Mihai, yes I don't know why I didn't make it easier for myself and choose kilometres or even metres 😅 Thanks for watching
Did the same thing turning 30. Turn 35 this summer... Time to bring back the tradition
It's a good way to have a bit of a running challenge. Good luck with 35 for 35 👍
Happy Birthday Ben 🎂. Great video as always 👍
Thanks Jorge 👍 Hope all's going well with you
Happy Birthday, Ben. Love it whenever you feature Devil's Dyke. Something sublime about it. That hail was vicious! Spring in the UK, eh?

Well done Ben! We all want to be like you. Or maybe just I want to emulate you. You have inspired me to great things!
Thanks Joe! It was good to get out there and do a bit of a birthday challenge this year with it falling on a Saturday. Hope you're keeping well
Cracking vid, Ben. Happy birthday and we'll done on a 34mi run 🤯
You had lovely Irish weather on that run.
Thanks Neil, yes very typical Irish weather 😀
Happy birthday, mate! Great run. You know you're in good shape when you've run 32 miles and you 'just add two more' 😂😂
Thanks Ian 😀 Happy with training so far just need to keep upping that elevation and I'll be good to go. This was a great excuse to eat a lot of cake after!
