Good video and yes, I did notice the rubber baby buggy bumper was missing & the 4 hits. Odd too, I've only seen 1 'pressing'. Maybe it's because I recognized the 10 ton arbor press?! It seems that smaller companies have been (finally) coming out with much better quality and designed knives at competitive prices, geared towards bigger names.
im not fond of 14c28n because of the over hypedness of it from knifetubers driving the cost of it above a budget price into the mid tier blade steel territory , its a few points tougher than 8cr with the same edge retention rating but currently 3 times the cost. I do like the knife designs from Fintiso and kudos on them for a stable plunge lock Flissa should take some notes.
@@anthonyrollins9825 14C28N is a lot more corrosion resistant than 8CR13MoV It is also much tougher in bending. It being a Sandvik steel also assures batch to batch consistency and tighter control of composition, fewer impurities etc.
@@CuttingBoardRx I aware , its still over hyped and because of it is over inflated in price from it , Sitivien prices thier 14c28n in the area i feel it should be under $35
I'd just like to add , 14c can take a very low angle edge , without chipping . I've taken it to 15° , without issue . I definitely won't be paying big bucks for it , but its great to sharpen , as a budget steel , as is N690 , which I slightly prefer . I definitely agree its over hyped though. Its certainly no Magnacut .. 😉😁
Happy Veterans Day! Hope you enjoy this deep dive into this inexpensive yet well designed and constructed knife!

Just a heads up, for some reason this video didn't show up in my subscription feed.
