It’s been a rough 12 years. losing back to back then slowly watching our fav players retire or get traded was so sad. this team has brought back that energy and it’s almost like they are just a revamped version of the 2011 team. love these guys win or lose. but it’s time we get the crown🤘🏼

As a giants fan couldn’t be anymore happier for Bochy he has a chance to secure another championship for a team that doesn’t have one and that would be an amazing accomplishment for already an amazing resume he has.
100%, I was saddened by his departure in SF. Glad he came back to baseball and has a chance at winning another Series.
As a rangers fan, Bochy was pretty much the main reason that they won the chip. Yes we signed a bunch of new players, but comparing that to our old lineups in the 2010s? Their batting was nearly just as good but our defense sold with so many heartbreaking errors in the playoffs. The rangers this past year have been one of three teams in mlb history to complete a postseason run without committing a single error. Ron Washington couldn’t fix the defense, Bannister couldn’t either but Bochy did, in which I will forever be thankful for

It was a hell of a game for me as a Rangers fan. I was 11 the last time they went to the World Series, now I’m 23 with 2 kids so it feels good🤣🤣 Respect to Houston, but we definitely wanted this more this year.

As far as Garcia goes, I haven't seen anything like since the Red Sox golden years with Papi and Manny. Individual post season dominance is hard to do and Garcia wrote a new chapter for the history books. We'll be talking about this for years to come.

I hear you, but the Rangers led our Division practically all year long and just had an untimely downswing that left the Astros in First. I will say the Astros had to win a Series of games against the DBACKS to be in a position to be in first place. We almost missed the play-offs. It was a tight race between the Astros, Rangers, and Mariners. Insane division this year.
I’m rooting Diamondbacks world series but, this was my favorite possible matchup. I like both the Rangers and Dbacks and both of them have come so far and deserve to win this year. If the Diamondbacks lose I’ll be bummed but not devastated. Whoever wins will have earned it!

I was born in Houston 66 years ago, grew up in near by Pasadena, married a girl from Dallas, moved here after college, bought land outside of Dallas. The Astros never amounted to much back in the day, so I didn't have any allegiance to them...we called them the "Disastros". Although I'm more of a football fan(Cowboys), I followed the Rangers through two failed world series in '10 and '11. Been following them all season this year, and I'm damned glad I did. Go Rangers!

Fun fact: this is the 2nd time that the Astros have lost all home games and won all road games in a series. They did it when they lost to Washington in 2019.

Aint mad at the stros at all sucks getting so close but that’s baseball. I get they are the villains, but being an older weaker more injured team than last year I thought they showed a lot of fight coming back from down 2 games. Not like they rolled over and died like the braves, rays, and dodgers. Winning a World Series is hard and a teams gotta get hot at the right time and they had to many core players not contributing (Peña, tucker, maldy, Brantley).
Anyway rooting for the rangers to finally get one will definitely kick this rivalry up even more.

You forgot to mention the most important thing that happened during that triple blowout series in early September. Garcia injured himself in the outfield, which forced the Rangers to bring someone up out of the minors to take his place.

Well, I said Houston would repeat, and I was wrong. They are definitely going to build from this defeat, and come back way stronger next season. I doubted they would even make the playoffs, like many, but it happened. Then they made it to another ALCS. Rangers fans don't get excited. Remember, no one won at home. Just think about like others have said. If the Rangers would have home field advantage I can almost guarantee the Astros would have made it back to another World Series this year.

Not worried about the Astros at all, it was a down year and we still made game 7 of the ALCS. In 2024 we get both Lance McCullers Jr and Luis Garcia back from Tommy John, both are starters which means we have an instant bullpen upgrade next season. Dusty is retiring and hopefully we will hire Joe Espada as his successor. This is gonna be Dana Brown’s 1st offseason so I’m excited to see what he cooks up. We have a solid roster, we just need another great hitter, some help in the outfield, and some extra bullpen arms. No more Maldy at catcher which will be a big help, Diaz can take over full time. I think we bounce back hard next season. Window isn’t close to closed and I’m tired of seeing our faithless doomer fans saying it is. It’s a tough loss, good job by the Rangers, but this isn’t even close to the end of the Astros.
