Great video from A-B. Scraped a ramp in NY which dented my oil pan and caused it to have some sweating out of the oil pan. Gave me complete confidence to do it myself!

Good tips. Doing this now on a 2009 Maxima. Trying to prevent breaking any exhaust bolts but I’m in the Northeast so I’m not too optimistic.

Use heat on stubborn bolts especially the middle 3 bolts.

ngl next time don’t put that much gasket sealer near the inside of the pan cause now all that is gonna be floating around with the oil and that’s no bueno for engine life

Yeah that was quite a bit of excess in gasket maker

Surly you can get those oil pan bolts out with a swivel socket.

Thats water pump bolts. 11035-EA20B is for oil pan.
1/8 quarts is equal to 4 oz, use BG MOA Advanced to cover that.

the part numbers I have in the description are the correct parts numbers. Water pump bolt part number is 08156-61633 and 11035-EA20B is actually 1 bolt that needed for the upper oil pan not the lower

Future tip; don’t use a scraper or a blade, use a pry bar and light sand paper you don’t want to gouge the metal 🤦🏽‍♂️
