Whoa deja vu again! I just pulled an auto of that same guy from a pack of Recon hahaha. That’s still a really cool card though, definitely the first numbered card I’ve ever seen from Tendies retail, at least this confirms they do exist!
Contenders was the first blaster (I think) that I brought when I first got back into the hobby a year ago. I thought they were cool, my opinion has now changed and I won’t be getting any this year unless I get them super cheap or in a break
I can't believe you pulled a numbered die cut auto out of tendies! I don't think I've ever pulled or seen anybody pull a good numbered card or auto out of contenders basketball. This year I pulled 150 points which is probably a top hit out of panini basketball retail.
I pulled a kyrie 1 of 1 and anthony black crown jewel from 2 boxes today 😊. Any clue on tbe kyrie value? Im just gettin back into cards so idk what im doin with this new stuff lol
They may have no choice. Panini is printing way more cards these days than they were 5+ years ago, and there are only so many game-used jerseys to go around. But I do think they could try harder to use game-used material. And I do think they are just being cheap sometimes.
