A "cool" tip for when you open those bricked packs beforehand if you keep them in a cold place try about 10 or lower degrees (fahrenheit) for a day it'll help prevent the sticking I left a bunch of mine outside and it definitely helped prevent them from sticking maybe only 1 or 2 would get stuck occasionally
This was exciting to watch. I had bought my bosses albums and his stack of Basketball cards. There are alot in there, from 1988-1996. Happy i have held on to them.
I thought this was gonna be a hot break with the MJ right out of the gate, but then it quickly cooled off after that. Still tons of other nice cards though!
I have never watched a RUclips video and went to my computer to make a comment. I find your knowledge amazing and was learning a lot! But when you started to complain about not having any 10's in what you find, I asked myself, why are you ripping them up like you are ripping up a parking ticket!? And sliding them like your are sanding something? Easy fella! Besides that, I am happy to find a very informative video!
I’m a new subscriber and I’m sure you’ve answered this a million times. What do you do with the cards you don’t put into the HOF or Jordan pile? Only asking because I’m from Louisville and would love that Felton Soencer and Darrell Griffith lol
Ive never pulled a jordan when i collected as a kid.I recently bought 10 packs of upper deck 92-93 . Pulled 5 out of the 10 packs, season leader in points and steals, standard card and scoring title with wilt chamberlain on the back.❤
😬😬😬 my face when I saw those Stadium club. For the bricked packs, put a damp paper towel on the bottom of a Tupperware, put a piece of cardboard on top then put the pack on top and seal the Tupperware. Open the pack of course. Let sit for a few days. How dare you almost not put 7 time Champ in the stack! Jordan no where to be found after first pack. Next time!
I wonder how much a Tom Chambers RC in PSA gem mint is going for???!!! Stock up on Tom Chambers cards NOW! He'll make it Into the Hall Of Fame very soon, long overdue! TOM CHAMBERS......
@@SageTheCollector You may be right. The way I assess It, there's a lot videos out there on Tom Chambers, and a lot of the younger generations just now discovering the existence of Tom Chambers. @@richardpeetrinpeetrin9817I hope TC gets more love from the younger generation, but getting into the HOF has very little affect (if any) on card values for a player, unfortunately. The value of a player's cards is determined long before they get into the HOF.

Won't get a 10 the way you bending opening and man handling the cards, even know they are technically worthless as they sit a 10 Jordan would bring in money

I’ll have to try that again. I tried it once, and it didn’t help. I’ve also tried microwaving the packs. Nothing seems to help me.
@@SageTheCollector Microwave?!!? Haha that sounds crazy
Not for long though. Only a few seconds. You don’t want the cards to melt. 😁

Check out is jordan card
Awesome Sage! at least a MJ sighting and a bunch of great HOFs! have a great week buddy!
Thanks! 🤘🏻
These are my collecting years, I appreciate this! Ty

The Skybox hunt for the 10 Jordan is utterly compelling. I'm all in!
I will complete my quest! 😁

Nice! I love picking up old lots like that. So fun to go through.
Man that Jamal Mashburn toppsgold rookie would of been worth a ton back in that year of release
Yay! Jordan hunts are prolly my fav
I Jerry got Jorrdon Box 2 1229baseball card and I got Jordon baseball card when he when he holding the championship in his hand ???
Dino Radja is a class of 2018 hall of famer. Got some Jordans but sadly no Laimbeer flick. 😁
I did not know that. Good to know!
Appreciate the Jordan hunt video these are Great!
Thanks, Stephen! 🙌🏻
nice content.. i stopped ripping some old stuff (upperdeck, skybox) since card stick to each other and too many cardboard junk 😅😂
Yeah, that's a good thing about pre-1993 paper stuff - at least they don't stick.

It would been a hot break if it was just one pack. 😁

The feeling of getting the MJ card never gets old. I also do similar rips myself. Great vids!
Agreed!
Love these Jordan hunts Sage, at least you didn't get skunked brother 👍

Thanks for the sub!
My 8 year old son and I just finished our 2022 nba hoops set and we were stoked. But these cards are awesome
Nice!
I have a bunch of 90-91 Fleer/Skybox/Hoops in excellent condition. What’s the best way to sell them?
Are you talking Jordans or just base cards from those sets?
I have ALMOST every card from Fleer 90 and Skybox 1990 plus lots of NBA Hoops 90 and 91. Several Jordan’s, birds, magics, etc.
I know they’re not very rare but they haven’t been touched in 25+ years and many look brand new.
When you do the sticky packs and you do the card crack before you look at them if you get a Bill Laimbeer crack it some more
The extra "crack" for Bill cards is the sound of him hitting the wall 😉
@@SageTheCollector yes true he deserves it
Secluding Drazen as well, you have my respect!
Gotta get caught up...start at my favorite with the Jordan Hunt! Sage thanks for the content as always.

Thanks for the video! What do you do with the cards that you do not want? For instance I collect any LA Lakers players
Sell them in bulk

where do you get these packs...? is it ebay...?
Yeah. I buy boxes on eBay mostly.

What camera do you use for recording? just Curious thank you more power
Just my iPhone. Nothing fancy.
I’ll take those Rex Walters off your hands. Growing up a Jayhawks fan Rex was my favorite player.
First pack magic 🪄
Nice Sage MJ hunting #32 I love it coz I am an old head haha
Jordan Hunt. When did he play?
I can't tell if you're trolling me or not 😁
I threw away a bunch of 90s Jordan's a decade ago when I was cleaning up. The only ones I have left is in a card book
😭
I have about 100 of those cards how do I find out what they are worth
Search for them on eBay, and click on Sold Items
Started hot, finished cool, and a little poo in the middle. Love it.
😁
oh darn it no Bill Laimbeer, was waiting for you tossing the card 🤣
Ha. I actually realized this after it was over. 😄
wow, i thought the jordan 3D pack, Jordan card is guaranteed.. guess i was lucky to get 2 Jordans in one pack (1 3d and 1 base)😁
Now that's a nice pack!
I keep commenting but how about the fact that Isaiah wasn't on the dream team
Thanks for the video!
🙌🏻
I have a 97/98 Fleer card #23 Michael Jordan All Star game, All defense, and League leader for '97'.

These years are getting close to the last real NBA years
For the young kids these days go back and watch Charles Barkley highlights. He was a monster
I need to add that Gary Payton rc to the collection , Seattle ❤️ 4 life

I have most of Jordan cards from a lot the I buy back in the days..
