I've been saying this since his performance against Tampa in the playoffs last year. But I'll say it again, Taylor Heinecke plays football like we all wish we could play it on the school yard. Rushing, juking, throwing, extending the play, sacrificing his body, deep bombing. You can absolutely tell he just has a MASSIVE amount of love and passion for the game.
Sure, his consistency needs to come up a bit, along with his accuracy, but man oh man is he FUN TO WATCH.

As a panthers fan, I am rooting for heinicke but that panthers defense made him look like mahomes which is unacceptable. Cam was solid even though he had only 9 days with the team. Gl to Washington.

Taylor has had two very solid back to back wins against Tom Brady and now the league's number 2 defense. The defense made huge stops in the 4th quarter and lived up to the hype from before the season. The team is heating up at a good time to try to make a Wild Card run. Loving the last two wins. GG Panthers, Cam had a great game and I'm excited to see him back

Terry McLaurin is probably the most underrated WR in the entire league.

Scary Terry is such an underrated beast. He took a shot last week that would have caused damn near anyone to drop the ball. Most underrated receiver in the league. He has everything. Hands, speed, toughness, leadership, intelligence. Easily the best receiver in the NFC East.

Maybe it's because the defense is finally playing better which also helps out the offense.
In the bin tbh, its not a good offense.
What they have done over the last couple games is simply turn up and play those individual games well.
The literal difference between good and bad at this level is how consistently you play well.
Asking where this offense has been, well its the same offense as the rest of the season. They've just played well for two games.

@@chillguydave925 I think he'll light them up. Sure, he got sacked on a 4th down blitz, but there are several factors to that which means the blame cannot only be on Cam. I get it, he's the quarterback, but he cannot be blamed for every single thing. The O line has to protect him, and they broke down quickly against Washington's D line before any receiver could get open, and at that point Cam's only job is to not have an INT or fumble. He did neither, so he did exactly what he should've in that situation because there was nothing else to do.
So against Miami, who is 4-7 and can't score that well, even with a blitzing defense, I do not trust Miami's secondary against Cam passing the ball because he's more accurate now than he was with my team last year, and he seems more decisive with his throws.

@@JUDALATION totally agree with this. Also, cam looked really accurate knowing that he was with the team for only 9 days. But panthers OC doesn’t know how to be aggressive. Panthers rarely have long distance plays which is sickening to watch.
That interior D-Line for Washington is so young and scary… and talking about Scary. Scary Terry had a hell of a game like most Sundays
Cam played a good game panthers defense n some of them offensive calls in the 2nd half weren't good but congrats to Washington on a solid win
Their playbook was so limited im kinda suprised their offense looked halfway decent considering cam only had a week and some change to learn the playbook

@@theglassesriley8229 Darnold was 4-5 and Newton is 1-1. Not a lot of difference. If the Panthers wind up at 8-9 , which they should with their remaining schedule, then Newton's record will be 3-4. Now, tell me again how much better Newton is as the starter - because it looks the same to me. Stats don't matter, bubba - WINS matter.

A lot of us were saying that after his spot appearance against the Panthers last season. If anything he was even better in that game than in the playoff game against the Bucs. The Haskins-hole was just a drive too deep for Heinicke to dig out a win. Even when I despaired earlier this season, I have always said that the only sensible way to go this year is to start Heinicke. What do we need to see Fitz play for? Never understood it.
Next year I don't know. I think it depends how he finishes this season.

Cam was excellent out there only 9 days on the team and 5 TDs that’s impressive. However it was still a very disappointing loss. Our defense didn’t play to the fullest and it cost the panthers the game. I’m staying optimistic and hoping we can put this loss behind us and make it to the playoffs.
IF McLaurin played on Tampa Bay or Kansas City you would be hearing his praises but being on the WFT some sports guys

Wish we could’ve won but the positive is Cam played a clean game, nobody was injured, and we were in it till the end. I still rock with Ron so GG.
Cam played great and left it all out on the field. Defense on the other hand couldn’t stop the run at all and got chopped up by Heinickie. When the offense finally plays well the defense sells out.
This is the best summation of the game and I don’t want to be petty but the refs were terrible as well. That said, we played bad enough where I don’t think that should be sole focus in this one case. It wasn’t at least blatant robbery like our game versus Dallas where we made their TE fumble and even Dallas fans agreed

Washington was playing on point for the most part today, exceptional on 3rd/4th downs on both sides of the ball. Great game by Heinicke, his best so far this year.
I'm pleasantly surprised Taylor was able to string together back to back solid games. Also Terry McLaurin is a top 5 receiver in the league, and he ain't Number 5.

it was a very fun game and i feel like we had opportunities to get another touchdown like when the fumble happened but it's okay atleast we won
it’s always like that with Washington. teams we play will turn over the ball or have tons of penalties called on them and for some reason we can never seem to capitalize off of them. however we have a lot of young guys on our team with a lot of talent that just needs the right coaching and practice and whenever that happens we’ll be an even better team.
Yeah that fumble in the redzone and punting instead of kicking a field goal really limited us on score but can’t forget Carolina is a great defense and Washington still got 27 so that’s a good score but yeah they did leave points on the table

Cam should stay QB1 even when Sam Darnold returns. Sure, the Panthers started 3-0, but now they are 5-6. That’s a 2-6 record since they started 3-0 with Sam Darnold. They may have not won this game, but give Cam some time to get used to it and he’ll be back to prime Cam within no time. And he balled out today so like… yeha.

Sam is a scrub. That was never in question. The only question is Cam good enough to get one more long term deal and not draft a QB next year. And I think Cam has made it a no brainer that he should be resigned and we focus on OL this offseason
