Hey biffa, there is an island in the middle of the ocean you should build a zoo or nature reserve on that island. Please give a heart or reply so that I know my message is conveyed to you.. love the series
To remove the grass sticking out from the tiles, you could have also painted the ground underneath to be concrete or gravel with the surface painter mod. That way it's only removed where you have the tiles and not on the entire map.
Don't forget about pedestrian access from the island to your other island. A small bridge next to the train tracks/highway would fit nicely. The parking lots at the entrace fit nicely, but may give you more space putting them across the street, also to help you be able to fit everything easier in your lot.
I have to say that this was the most interesting episode to watch in the series for this city so far. You didn't bore me with needlessly showing every bit of detail work and your timelapse city tour segments weren't overly long. And your layout for the park was very well done. Although I think you should have added some more bathrooms close to the rollercoaster too so your visitors don't have to waddle all the way to the entrance to relieve themselves. All in all, this is the best episode so far in this city.
Not an Ohio citizen but been to cedar park once. I'm a coaster fanatic. Since I was 12 I wanted to go. Went when I was 17. So much fun. Been on all the fastest coasters tallest coasters I can. Been to all of them but the Texas record holders. And outside US. Also go to Thornville for lost lands each year.
Best amusement park design yet from you Biffa! It doesn't feel like any of the space was wasted nor does it feel crowded. Great idea adding assets from other parks for some variety :)
"🎶It's a wonderful day in the neighborhood🎶" New Tealand is back! Great way to start the morning!😊😊 EDIT: MY amusement park name sugestion!! Teawi Point! because of the New Zealand natives being nicknamed Kiwis and 'Cedar Point' in my home State😁😁
I hope you develop the beach near the amusement park & metro hub into a tourist area. The highway serves as a great divider to keep all the party noise away from a residential area, and should provide a good spot to develop some offices to meet that industry demand. Either way, might be a good idea to set aside a small area for some more services; trash collection and park maintenance have quite a commute from the look of things, and those growing communities would probably enjoy shorter routes for both.
I can just imagine doing my desk job at those offices near that amusement park. Then on Friday evening, having made sure I have my season pass in my wallet, head over to the commercial wine shop just outside my office, grab a bottle, then going to the amusement park to cool it off and blow some of the week's steam. Awesome. Why with the train, I could be a bit smashed and still get home without hitting anyone with a car (Or get arrested, they plopped a police station just around the corner to the office folks, be careful around there !). Nice vid !
Things I've learned from Biffa during this series: (1) The picker tool is the most useful mod ever. (2) You can terraform whatever you want without any issue but every rock must be saved at all costs. (3) The trees on this map don't care if you have anarchy on or not. (4) If Biffa can empty the pockets of every citizen using parks he definitely will. I'm glad Hugo has a new job though, i was a bit worried he was now sleeping under one of Biffa's many bridges after his job in lane management was cancelled.
You have asymmetrical roads with grass on the sides, that would fit better at 22:12. :) I really love your videos, there is nothing more relaxing to me, than watching you do your thing ^^

The best 'Ferris Wheel' was once at Australia's Wonderland. It was Australia's best theme park beating both Luna Parks, Dreamworld, Movie World and Wet N Wild. I used to go every weekend. 'The Zodiac', had an arm which pivoted in the middle with two rings of cages on each end. As one end of the arm was down the ground allowing people to board the cages, which would sit horizontally on the ring the other would be up in the air and the cages would be vertical on the ring. It's basically two Ferris wheels on an arm. Unfortunately Australia's Wonderland became unprofitable, even with bringing in the Exec's from SeaWorld to help. It's now an industrial park with no resemblance of what the place once was. The Pirate Ship or 'Bounty's Revenge' was the only pirate which would do full rotations. 'Space Probe' was the largest vertical free fall drop and The 'Bush Beast' was the Southern Hemispheres largest wooden roller coaster. Not sure what happened to most of the rides but I do know that 'The Demon' was bought by a I.S theme park, was repairing and renamed 'Dragons Fury'
I wish you could put an exclusive hotel inside the amusement park and a few food stalls and small parks. Edit: Looking forward on my idea in one of your builds. Thanks!
I'd suggest you build an airport on the island with "Teasney World". Sooner or later you'd need one anyways and it can bring tourists to the theme park as well. Then you could connect up to the mainland area with a nice and fancy railway bridge over the bay wich, in time , could connect to a future mainland tube. Btw: Great video, as always, Biffa, and greetings from Austria ;)
You should make some like historical park in the middle island between your amusement park and the ferry main hub. I have this little island in my hometown where they do theatre sketches to take about the history of island that's only accessible by boat (so basically what your ferry line could do in game). So, you could make some sort of equivalent for "The history of New Tealand" and get lots more tea leaves for it haha :) just a thought.
Biffa, I tried something with a park for fun. I made a large park area early on and I banned cars. I put ALL the commercial buildings inside the park boundaries, I put the elementary school, the high school AND the university in there too (no mothers with 4x4s taking their kids to school due to car ban), got the park to level 5 and watched £31,000+ per week come rolling in with expenses of around a grand or so, a lot of which was for park gates of which I had quite a few. To watch all those citizens paying £40 to go to school and do their shopping each day was gratifying. This income was from a population around 10,000.
I keep forgetting to say, but I massively enjoy your editing! The little ‘shiftify’ or the shaky camera whilst struggling to capture and move the rock. It makes me chuckle every time!
Wouldn´t be the "Highland District" - Island be a really nice natural Reservepark, only accsible by ferry? I´ve been eyeballing that since you unlocked the tile and hoped, that this would come up soon.
The mountains are a good alternative for that one though. A campus has also been suggested but not sure if there's enough space. Either way, can we have a Toori in the water? (ref. Miyajima and others)
The new area should be “Steep-le Point” It’s got- 1. You steep Tea 2. The peninsula looks like a church steeple 3. Christchurch, NZ exists. Church’s have steeple’s. 🔥🔥🔥

Perhaps, at the cost of having highrises near the amusement park, making a Leisure or Tourist spot nearby could be fitting? Like having hotels for tourists who want to visit the amusement park ^^
22:40 I whould say that distance is totally worth it to make a short bus line with exact 3 stops. Starting at the Ferry Pier, then go to the Train Station, then to the Park entrance and retour. 40:25 I bet this could look even better now with the new DLCs that where released just a few days ago.
I have bitten my tongue for soooo long. I can't anymore. I feel you often make your Quay walls too high relative to the water level. Leading to other compromises like cims having to bungee jump onto Ferries.
Well, I've seen that on other channels as well as in my own cities. You basically have to do that due to the game's weird water physics. Whenever I went for a more natural looking quay or water installation, I keep getting sporadic flooding, and it never works near bends in rivers at all. It is what it is, but unless the devs go back into the engine and modify the way water behaves (fat chance ^^) we have to live with it.
Be sure to check the traffic at the fancy pre-made intersection. There’s cars stopping for no reason at 23:37. I’m using the same map and I’ve had a few issues at the pre-made intersections.
You should build a nature reserve on that big jagged island in the middle. You could call it "Yogi Bear Tea Reserve" cause of the Yogi tea brand. Also, you should name one of your long and thin islands "Zealong Island" because Zealong is a New Zealand tea company. (and it kinda sounds like Long Island, so it could be a heavily populated island (or not)).
you should make the beach next to the amusement park into another park as a recreational beach and turn that whole side of the island into a tourism district!
42:04 - when you put that path in for the ferris wheel, i muttered "put in dedicated turning lanes" under my breath... might have watched just a touch too much biffa in lockdown 🤦♂️
Nice job Biffa! For your detailing, use the Azaelas (from the workshop) and the line tool, and you can get beautiful flower beds. These would be excellent to run along the streets of Mickey park. Or surround picnic areas in the park.
I really like the placement of all the rides, booths and amenities in the park. The only thing I might change is to switch the ferris wheel and the roller coaster to really give people amazing waterfront views in all directions when riding the ferris wheel.
You reignited my tea addiction. I just finished a box of Yorkshire tea, now I’m drinking my Yorkshire gold like it’s water. (I normally save Yorkshire gold for work and special occasions)
1. The amusement park area should be called "Point-Tea Park" because it has a point at the end; pointy. 2. The road going into the new Ferry port, you should make it a one-way road. 3. The Highland District Island (currently named) and call it "Tea Bag Island". 4. The Highland District/Tea Bag Island make it into: a somewhat of a tea bag shape, walking and bike path only, fancy houses or rich people live here, have a long and winding walking path (to make it look like a string on a tea bag) to the Ferry Port (represents the Tea Bag Tag) and the only way in/out of the island, tie into the new Ferry line; Main Port - Island Port - Amusement Port and have a Light House on the corners of the island. 5. The mountains you should name it "Steeped Tea Mountain". 6. When you buy the area (two identical rectangles island) South of Highland District? You should call it "A Sip of Tea" because it looks like the pause icon; just the two island. 7. Name somewhere called "Teapot".
Biffa, I think right beside the amusement park, instead of all midrise offices, you should drop a couple of hotels, incase people want to spend the weekend at Mickey Park!!
About the grass that is popping trough the amusement park tiles, instead of turning off your grass decoration, you could use Surface Painter. Drawing gravel or pavement under the tiles will make the grass disappear.
Oh no! The roller coaster killed a rock! And also right after you saved a rock, like literally a second later 😂😂😂😂 Biffa ur awesome btw, so many tiny moments that make me crack the hell up
Biffa, a suggestion for your amusement park name 'Fun-Tea-Sea World' or 'Fan-Tea-Sea World' (Works both with your Tea theme, and is also a play on words with the UK Northern Accent of using just a 'T' in place of words ...Fun T' see. And also using 'Sea' not see ... because of all the amazing seas views)
I always make a point of building the parks right in the middle of the city, and put some 4 sqrgrid highway around key paths, just enough so that all citizens will have to enter the park to go to the other side of the town. Guess who's getting rich...not this guy, just the game :D Great park, tbh didn't like that you put pavement as a filler...you could have left grass there, to make it more eye appealing. Overall i liked this episode.
Love the work Biffa - so Awesome - Name ideas - Tea Leaf Kettle Park - Tea Leaf (West) across bridge (Tea Leaf Gardens (East) - Keep up the great work.
Maybe put restrooms and gift shops throughout Mickey park? It might also be nice to have the Drop Ride or a big ride in-line with Main St (a la Disney) to give something to see as you walk through the main gate.
A good suggestion: If you have the London Eye unique building, throw it in there as a larger and more "grand" ferris wheel. Name for the park: InfiniTea Garden Park

Purely because it was autonamed Mickey Park, it has to be called Distea world.

Distea world 100%
Or Teanocchio because its long like Pinocchio’s nose and it’s a Disney/Distea character

Ah man, I love coming home from work, making food, sitting down and chilling with the big T with a tea stain. Excited to see this city grow :D
Biffa! Small comment on the parking lots. When you get them from the workshop they are seen as "parks" so people come over to visit them.
Oh no! The roller coaster killed a rock! And also right after you saved a rock, like literally a second later 😂😂😂😂 Biffa ur awesome btw, so many tiny moments that make me crack the hell up
Biffa, a suggestion for your amusement park name 'Fun-Tea-Sea World' or 'Fan-Tea-Sea World'
(Works both with your Tea theme, and is also a play on words with the UK Northern Accent of using just a 'T' in place of words ...Fun T' see. And also using 'Sea' not see ... because of all the amazing seas views)
The Tea Break animation is everything as are the effects in general!
I always make a point of building the parks right in the middle of the city, and put some 4 sqrgrid highway around key paths, just enough so that all citizens will have to enter the park to go to the other side of the town. Guess who's getting rich...not this guy, just the game :D
Great park, tbh didn't like that you put pavement as a filler...you could have left grass there, to make it more eye appealing.
I LOVE how the mountain lined up so PERFECTLY in the back, as you enter “Mickey Park” lol it seriously looks great and it wasn’t even on purpose! Nice
Ohhh and I like the nirvana reference…. “Pennyroyal Tea Palace” hahahaha
