I was married 52 yrs. ago. We married Oct. 30. I was working at a hospital and my husband was a senior in college and he had finished his stint in Vietnam. So I was excited for my 1st Christmas being married. I fell in love w/2 boy caroliers who had on singing robes. They cost $1.99 ea. The problem was that I made only $1.99 an hr. Did I really want to spend 2 hrs. pay for the set? I thought hard and decided to get them. They have held a honored place on our Christmas dining table since then. Love your tree!

My first Christmas tree was 2 ft tall. 😂 But it was still super special! And I loved decorating it with mini ornaments. Now we started a new tradition with the boys where we get a real tree the day after Thanksgiving. ❤️🎄
Maybe try slime or putty to get the glitter out of the cracks on your table. Your home is looking beautiful for the holidays.

Last year I finally had to throw away our first tree (after 22 years) because it was kinda distintegrating. My new tree is prelit and I got it in the Summer for a steal. My mom has an old school vintage tree she has used for something like 65 years. 😲😲😲
