I think that's a wise decision. Take everything off the tioga to put on the new rig. You can park the Tioga at your property. You could rent it out like an airbnb or leave it there for friends to stay in. I hope that you and the kitties have an amazing 2024!
Why not give the Tioga to Diana ? That would be the right thing to do Yayyy❤️🙏💯
Just just airbnb it
No one wants to stay in a place that stinks of cat urine. You know he's never even vacuumed that thing. 😂
@@gcs8889that is a bit rude. Cats are not inherently dirty. Eric has a Litter Robot and so the litter is swept and always clean. Cats that have clean litter and that are healthy (and especially those that are spayed or neutered) do not mark or spray or void where they shouldn’t. I don’t know Eric, however he seems very tidy. Keeping the floors of some motorhomes spiffy clean can be difficult, especially if the maker carpeted the rig. Note how any new motorhome you buy today has very little, if not 0 carpet.
@@jeromep He's constantly covered in cat hair and the floor of his RV is filthy in every video. Not to mention his gray shorts which could classify as their own organism now.
Tater is not a clean person.
Remember Show Low all to well ! Our motorhome broke down in Herber and towed to Show Low in August. Spent 3 nights in a run down motel until a mobile diesel mechanic got us up and running again.
Did you know that the invention of Tater Tots took place in Ontario, Oregon seventy years ago? Tater Tots, one of America’s most beloved frozen foods, was invented in 1953 by two enterprising brothers. Theodore Golden Grigg (1911-1991) and Nephi Grigg (1913-1995) created the Ore-Ida Potato Products in Ontario, Oregon in 1952.
By 1953, Ore-Ida was using a redesigned prune sorter to mechanically separate the fries from leftover potato scraps. For a time, the scraps were used in cattle feed, but Nephi Grigg was not happy seeing a “product that had been purchased from the grower, stored for months, gone through the peeling process, gone thru the speckling lines and trimmed of all defects, only to be eliminated into the cattle feed.” The brothers experimented, mixing the potato scraps with flour and seasonings, extruding the potato slurry through holes in a plywood board, and then blanching, quick frying, and freezing the result into nuggets.
Nephi Grigg took a fifteen-pound bag of their invention to the 1954 National Potato Convention in Miami Beach, where he persuaded the convention hotel kitchen staff to serve up samples at breakfast. “These were all gobbled up faster than a dead cat could wag its tail,” Grigg recalled. There are several stories of how Tater Tots got its trademarked name, but Steve Grigg, Nephi’s son, prefers the version in which Ore-Ida employee Clora Lay Orton came up with the name in a factory-wide contest.
I didn't know that!
I love how Harley owners are surprised beyond belief that their bike started.
We've had several and they always start as long as the battery is good.
i thought it was more surprise at the trickle charger working right to keep the battery charged up than about the harley starting but i could be wrong.
This ain't your grandpa's Harley. The big issue with any vehicle these days is the constant drain on the battery from the onboard electronics. I've actually had better luck with my Harley starting after sitting for a month than I have with my truck. As one of the other posters said I don't think the surprise is that the Harley started I think it's that the maintainer worked.
After my conversations from a couple motel owners about their hot tubs and swimming pools (especially hot tubs) I'll never go in one again. As Sheldon Cooper would say, "I have no desire to sit in a tube of 'sweaty people soup'. (And that's the milder side of it).
Hey Eric, Have you ever thought of doing a video on your extensive criminal background of domestic abuse? I had no idea how many women and even men pressed charges on you. Very disappointing.
Yes finally LOL. KEEP your solar! Great idea!
$52 for a hotel room is cheaper then some rv spots.....cool.
Simplicity is a sign of genius.
Happy New Year 🎊🥂🎉 Truly wishing you the best. Cheers!
Smart choice on the solar system & RV Future ! Man they like that Gear a lot don't they ! I would get 2 and replace both at the same time & be done with it ! the other one was super stressed also..... Take care !
I agree plate replace both of long as you found them and as long as they're available and if you can afford them cuz you know soon as that one gets place replace the other one has been stressing it's going to go out to
What happened to Jax?
Any Diet plans for the New Years Eric? Holy Moly.
Good ideal on taking everything off the tioga to put on the new rig!
Glad you changed your mind about selling Freeda. I'll take care of her.
I just came across your weight loss playlist. What a phenomenal transformation. Do you ever regret not staying closer to a healthier way of eating and drinking?
Awesome content Eric
Hi I wanted say ,Happy New Year too you and Tara and Opie From Deb
Selling something nice to people on fixed or no income isnt a good business strategy. Quartzite has a bunch of people strapped for cash and loving it
Happy New Year Eric 🙏❌⭕❣️
Have you thought about getting a kitty fountain? Mine love it and drink so much more!!
Just arrived at Hi Jolly today.
Have you thought about getting a big Bluetti or similar power station? So easy to move from RV to Rv.
That's a smart move have a spare RV
I think you're doing the smart thing in keeping the Tioga at camp. You could even set it up like the school bus you stayed in. Build a porch and make an outdoor living room. Rent it out as an Airbnb, use it for guests, stay in it when you have to make quick trips back to camp...All kinds of potential.
Eric you could have solar bill do the removal and install. Good luck.
I love the new rig. Love the basecamp. Love the plan to keep the Tioga in the white mountains.
Great content. Keep it up.
Excellenta great episode see ya on the next one thanks 👍
Glad that you found a source for the gear you need. Has to be a big relief and hopefully it will not take long too get.
Take pictures before you change anything so you don’t get so distracted on how to put the system back together again…..😅
Rv sales are the lowest ever recorded
Happy you found the slide part up in Canada.
See you on the next one.
See if Diana wants to buy the Tioga first, before you rip it apart 👍
Just to let you know a Canadian RV place maybe closed till April/May. Maybe see who the owners are and call directly. The company may have a facebook page that are monitored
Keep doing you 🤗
💜💜💜tfs💜💜💜 HAPPY NEW YEAR
Happy New Year Eric,Opie and Tara. Cheers from Tasmania.
Circle K makes great pizza!
Now you'll have room in Taterland for me to come and stay... I'll be there in the summertime. Can you pick me up at the airport or should I just rent a car?
Yeah Casey Pizza!
Enjoying these last few videos keep em coming
Happy New Year!
Happy New Year Eric, Tara and Opie. We have Cirkle K’s in Nova Scotia and love there Pizzas. $9.99 every Friday great deal.
Hey Eric Great to know that you are keeping the things you have worked hard to have and Great to know that you have found the parts way to go Can't wait to see what you do next I'm a fan all the way
Happy New year man to you and the kitties
I like cheese burgers too.

Happy New Year Eric & the kitties🎉🎉🎉
N8ce video
You can share some pizza with the person in the hotel reception.
Your videos are always interesting………stop fretting about content!!
Just wanted to wish you a safe and happy new year kiss the babies enjoy love you guys❤❤❤❤
Good decision😊
I was going to say keep it , but everyone always tell you what to do. That way you have extra space at home. Hugs for fuzzy butts.
Take picture of your solar.
Thanks for giving us an update. Sometimes people forget it takes time to do what you're doing. Thanks
Holy cow $500! Try the window weld glue trick first on the slide gear.
MY SNAGGLESPUSS IS GONE , I LOVE YOU BUDDY . WAIT FOR ME ! THE TEARS,, SO MANY TEARS. I AM LOST.
Great move keeping the Tioga. You could set it up for friends, a studio, or storage. Lift onto Jacks with bases and put a screen around the bottom.
Eric, you're a great kitty dad. We all know you love them and spend quality time with them. I hope you have a great New Years Eve with your friends.
Happy New Year's Eve!
I really like the things you do !!
Let me know if you want to Airbnb Frida!
airbnb Freda !!!!!
Thank you for sharing! Happy New Year Eric!
Good decision on keeping Frida . After the last video I was thinking the same why selling for nil. Maybe air bnb ?
Meow meow Tara and Opie. Damn that pizza looked good. Have fun and be safe Eric.
Eric Happy New Years 2024. One question how do you keep the pack rats from messing with Tator Tots engine area?
The Bigfoot will allow you to visit areas which you were not able to with your previous RVS. While you want to continue to stay in the warm areas, it is a good ideal to visit some areas which are beautiful during the winter months. Of course, many of these areas are going to be cold. You have to plan very carefully in order to stay in a cold area for a short period of time. The addition of trips to a few cold areas will be entertaining.
Here are a couple ideals for a name for the Bigfoot, BIGDA and BIGDRA. Also, SAUSDA is a good name.
You should not bother the cats while they are eating. Forcing yourself on them when most vulnerable is not good for their mental health.
Just wondering why not upgrade your trailer size to fit the car and bike 16ft should handle both with no problem weight not much more,,,,,
I think Keeping Frida is a good idea-Happy New Year 24 🎉🎉
Your New Vehicle, looks very very very Cool 😎 Eric😎😊👍
What happened to the sweet puppy¿
Gone - wasn't getting the views he wanted.
@@DAS314 that's never going to happen...
Apparently, I think that the pup was a lot more work than Eric expected. It's tough in a house so I can imagine it's even tougher in an RV.
@@OneStrangeJourney Yeah, the entire situation was very fishy. It seems like a half-truth was told somewhere in that video, especially not providing any further updates - even verbally.
@@OneStrangeJourney Yeah I hope that wasn't the case. With how he treats things though, it wouldn't shock me if that rumor was true. I mean he let Jax die while he enjoyed Disney World, so he does have a history of doing things like this.
You'd be surprised how many gas stations have really good pizza.
Smart thinking 💪🏻💪🏻💪🏻❤
Crazy to think I have been watching you for like 8 or 9 years
great to hear you're keeping freeda, you could always make her an airbnb down the line like that bus you stayed in.
Park the Tioga at Taterland, and then use it as an AirBnb. It then won’t go completely unused. Just a thought!!!!
Hey nomadic fanatic, what happened to blue boy you left back in Kansas City.
The main reason they don’t want your RV is because it’s far too old. It needs lots of repairs. Just like the one that you have now that’s way too old is going to need repairing just like the Tioga so what can I say? As for being reunited with black Betty, who is black Betty? oh, you mean the Harley?
Good luck to you in all you do. Hope this New Year brings you and the fuzzy butts lots of good things, health and happiness. 💖🥰💖
The no food or drink in the pool area is because someone did something stupid.
Probably.
Safe travels. What kind of grill do you have on the table at Quartzsite?
Eric I think the world of😮you ❤Paula
All I can say is thank God there were no circle K pizza back in the day. They only had Doritos and microwave burritos. lol them munchies run, for reel.
Gas station pizza is delish 😋 and $6.51 !? Thats tough to beat!
In terms of Frieda, I think you should take off what you want to use from it and then just sell it. You don’t need it sitting there collecting mice, but that’s just my friendly two cents. In terms of this video, I think it’s terrific!
No sound on this video
Take that solar off the Tioga. Use it as a guest house!
You should pull off everything and sell it separately then sell the tioga . Custom anything is a hard sell. Storing rvs is a real pain. Hope you have a great 2024 and looking forward to your future adventures!
Very true anything custom you lose your a$$ on
@@scottlaraway258 learned that the hard way many times. If someone wants custom they’re going to do it themselves.
happy new year
Happy New Year, hope it's better than all the ones before it. 😁😁😎😎👍👍
GOOD MORNING BEAST NOMADIC FANTASTIC ERIC JAX RUclips VIDEO 🐈🐈
Happy New Year
I totally agree with you about "Freda" and I would just keep it as well.
I also wanted to say I think you are an awesome Kitty Dad!!!! (LOL)
Happy New Year Eric!! Freda could be your guest house for those visitors who don't have their own home on wheels!! Here's to 2024!!!
AirB&B your Tioga out to nomads.
I would consider upgrading to the aluminum gears and i would do them both. Gears wear and with one failing it put additional strain on the other and then you are replacing the worn out one which would put another angle of strain. For whats it worth this is what i was trained to do on gear driven garage door openers, many moons ago lol...edit: yeah its human nature to get a "deal" on used equipment, so i generally strip down anything im selling and part out the extras or like you, add them to the new rig
Makes no sense to only change one.😎
Good advice...doing it right on the first attempt.
You should rent it out after you pull everything off of it.
