This is an imaginary King Crimson album from the early 70s.
an alternative 'Wake of Poseidon'. It has a more dreamy, late-night jazz
feel with less Fripp and more Mel Collins / Keith Tippett.
The album is created from bits of Crimson and cover artists,
also the McDonald and Giles and Tippett albums. Lots of different mixes
and edits. Enjoy - Note, if this is removed I give up!

Ibiza Lady
(The opening chorus is from McDonald & Giles album (slowed down to sound more like Lake) then blends Crimson's Formentera lady and something I can't remember from Keith Tippett's Septober Energy) Ibiza is the Island next to Formentera for those who don't know!

Towards the end, a fan recording of the Cat Food bass-line is introduced.

I Sleep With The Wind
Mixes the ambient 'Resonators' version by Keith Whitman with a Crimson outake. Then brings in Steve Hackett doing a solo, then a fan cover band, finally the Crimson Jazz Trio to end.
Cadence and Cascade
Mixes an instrumental version of McDonald & Giles 'Flight of Ibis' (an early version of the song) with a Crimso demo of it.
Poseidon's Epitaph
This is literally an Instrumental version of Epitaph with the vocals from Poseidon layered over it. It serves to show just how alike the two songs are!
Minerva's Gaze
Blends a Fripp produces Keith Tippett track 'Dance' from his Blueprint album with a live cut of Crimson's Devil's Triangle.
Whoa !!! the Ad placement actually fits with the last track !! Lol !!
Very historical and should be valuable to collect for K.C. fans.
They should have made another K.C. album instead of this.
Is this the long rumoed third King Crimson album.

I like to think there are people in alternate universe listening to a homemade version of Poseidon, contemplating what KC would have sounded like had Fripp dominated the band's direction instead of Tippet, Giles, McDonald and Collins 😁

As soon as I head that McDonald and Giles sample in the intro.... I was hooked. Been meaning to sample my original copy n make some grooves. The KC universe is magical.
If Fripp left (as he offered to do at one point) and McDonald & the Giles Brothers were joined by Tippett, Collins, and a new guitarist. Yeah, I can sorta see it. The album that might have been.
Amigo as an old boomer who went to see these bands in the ‘70’s.

Late to the show. A good portion of this 'endeavor' leans Crimson heavily into an alliance with Jade Warrior, which is a pleasure. Thanks, and shared.

Once again Rael nyc has surprised me and made me rejuvenate with this wonderful new album from King Crimson 1970.
I have King Crimson bootlegs galore at home, also everything Official in full, but this one from Rael nyc did not have it, and that is why I thank him immensely, since it is also great, an album that I have always dreamed of having, and now it has come true thanks to you.

I have had this on my phone for the longest time and have just started to listen to it. I binged have a lifetimes worth of King Crimson recently and this was somewhere tucked in where I didn't discover it yet. So, I listened to the start of it earlier today and couldn't resist looking it up anymore as I heard some KC in there without a doubt but other things I had no idea of their identity.
I'm assuming this xhannel is the person who constructed Minervas Gaze. If this is; GREAT WORK! I can't tell you how much this means. Recently been searching for and wide for King Crimson material that I haven't heard; demos and outtakes/alternate takes and mixes/live versions with great quality. The catch is; I only like what Crimson did from their first formation to 1974. Anything beyond SaBB/RED ; I can't get into it. It just sounds so lacking to me. That's pretty much every band that was kickin it in late 1960s and early 1970s. They all seem to hit a brick wall when the 1980s arrived.
Maybe I'm just close-minded. Thank you for the EXCELLENT album. You have incredible vision!

The god-cat is Apolo, all mortals miau in awe before this godly double.
And the punchline is that it comes complete with Cat Food...

@@913KCED It was removed because two of the tracks 'violated copyright'. Sad really as they are 50 year old recordings, the creators of whom I have helped to make very rich.
