Hi, I sent an email to a professor for a research opportunity he responded and asked me if I knew any programming languages. however, after sending him the email he never responded to my second email. Do you have any suggestions or recommendations of what to say and how long should I wait to write a follow-up email.

does it look bad if I send multiple cold emails to eagerly to get internship to multiple companies, yet end up rejecting and unable to accept them? In the end I can only choose one company at a time, because I have university classes. I would actually love to intern at al the companies but, perhaps later on
