AE86 Manual Rack Install (Manual Rack Conversion)

In todays episode we finally install the manual rack n pinion upgrade we sourced from a AW11 (1st Gen MR2). Unfortunately I destroyed my phone towards the end of shooting, and I had to start over from scratch. I hope my explanation of getting the rack bolted in place helps someone in the future. I feel I let down my audience a bit. Temporary setback, all future videos should be back to my normal.

Damn bro I think I forgot to put grease in the steering rack rubbers 😢 thats a lot of work again 😝

You should be able to do it on the car without removing the rack. Just loosen the clamps to the rubber boots and slide them down over the tie rods, grease, and pop them back into place and retighten the clamps. Not fun if you are on your back tho. ;)
