5:50 As of January 2022, the instant turn maneuver on aircrafts has been added to the list of banned exploits. Instant-turn wouldn't just get you judged by others now. It also gets you banned. Don't do it.
Yeah, in the first Rising Sun mission in Uprising... We've all been there... I also tried disguising the Sudden Transport as a Twinblade and got no reaction from it...
A Twinblade controlled by a co-commander (player not AI) is one thing you'd like to have as an Allied or Empire, the same way a Soviet or Empire players feel having someone good with Cryocopter at their side that makes their Apocalypse/Oni/wave force arty nothing short of unstoppable.
Also, here are two ideas for the next videos: - All the possible hammer tank modifications (with leeched off weapons) and how to micro them, when having the weapons (i.e. with Athena it's kinda tricky) - All the possible IFV versions (I have never seen tankbuster IFVs being used, as shown in your last video, so it was really interesting)
Go for leeching Wave-Force Artillery or Shogun Battleship instead... Also it would be a good idea to show the pros and cons of each IFV/Multigunner Turret config...
5:50 Fun fact, helicopters can actually kind of do that reverse and then 180° rotation maneuver in real life: Check this video around the end: ruclips.net/video/MYWvGcMq8CM/видео.htmlm45s (9:45 for example)
Except in the game exploit the helicopter goes 180 first and then changes direction. You normally click behind a unit when ordering a reverse-move, but here they ordered a reverse-move such that they continued going the same way, until a moment later when a normal move command was given in the other direction. Note I'm not saying either one is impossible, just specifying that with the exploit rotation occurs before change in travel direction.
Twinblade MCV would be the most priority target for enemy as twinblade don't has much HP. Let MCV move by their own wheel is safer as it has higher HP that can absorb some fire if there's some incoming fire.
Trivial note: Commissars serve as co-pilots onboard these Twinblades, so not only is the helicopter effective in ground combat, but being in the sky and able to oversee operations, the Twinblade also has a secondary role as doctrine enforcers, with the dual machineguns perfect for executing deserters, although in-game, this is never shown. While the tales of commissars executing their own troops has been overblown, in the hammy and surprisingly grimdark Red Alert 3 verse, the Twinblade is a deserter's worst nightmare for obvious reasons.
Ah yes, something much more scarier than a Kirov... *A swarm of Twinblades!* Also, huh... I thought something was fishy when the intro has a Twinblade carrying a Kirov, an MCV, an Aircraft Carrier, even the Executioner's legs... *Uprising Rising Sun 1 flashbacks* Oh right... Sudden Transports very sus...
Twinblades are the most versatile gunships in the entire game. They can technically stand out on their own and wreck havoc to anything on ground. They're fast and really hit hard compared to the Chopper VX and the same speed vs Cryocopters. They really are a pain in the ass if left unchecked and more formidable with 8 MIGs covering their tails. I wont be surprised if they are the most used unit by Soviet players.
5:22 Well, I did that shit against a hard AI and I have 7 allied MCV captured from an enemy (I captured one with Nata's snipe, and just build armorfac and 7 mcvs) and they are all prepped with, you guessed it, a bunch of Spectrum Towers. When the sputniks unpack, which is quite quick, (I curtained the Sputnik and Twinblade when loading up, and then just begin putting 8 towers and rekt the enemy) And yes I carried 5 of them since they all fit in a curtain.
Remix version of Twinblade can't carry vehicles or 5 infantry troopers at once but it has something scarier: a Multigunner system! Imagine this: 20 Twinblades carrying flack cannons + Pyromania perk and 20 Tesla Twinblades!
@@PaulSorensen86 under either planning mode or regular attack order, most units would keep firing at intended target until it's dead.
