The whole A’s existence has felt like a bunt for ages now. Don’t get me wrong. I know that sounds like a dig, and yeah it kinda is, but hear me out. It’s got a second meaning, too. I’m an NL guy who grew up loving the bunt and manufacturing runs. The A’s were never given the checkbook other teams got. So they had to play to their advantages to win, or even just get on base. If the traditional way doesn’t work, find another. This worked. Moneyball, baby. Find a road less travelled.
That is classic small ball. Usually only see this in league fastpitch softball
Well when you hit the 12th inning, you start doing some interesting things.
Somewhere, Eric Sim is weeping
That first bunt was a beauty
Fundamentals, boys.
In a league driven by stats and probability, why not play ball?
It’s a small baseball in the big league.😅
That's it boys. Make them work for it!
Love it! ❤❤❤

Showing other teams the blueprint to beat them in the playoffs?
Exactly!
Face down...ass up...that's the way we like to...slide into second base...😂
Jesus, that announcing is terrible
That’s baseball what math can’t understand
***BILLY*BALL***
